This anti-theft alarm triggered by vibration, with 110 dB loud alarm sound can help to deter thieves effectively, provide additional security and give you peace of mind when your vehicles park at home or outdoors. I originally purchased this, because I really didn't "need" a taillight. However, I don't have enough stem space below my seat to mount this there, and there isn't much room under the seat; I didn't feel confident with this. I returned this and purchased the WSDCAM Remote Bike Tail Light with Alarm, Smart Bike Brake Light, Auto ON/Off, Long Battery Life Rechargeable Bike Back Light, 110dB Loud Antitheft Alarm, Waterproof Rear Bike Light Bicycle Tail Light. This one comes with a fastener to attach it to the rails under the seat AND when charging the red "taillight" is illuminated - and goes off when fully charged. Happy with my upgrade!
