I wanted this to use exclusively as a selfie stick and not as a tripod, and so that’s what I’m rating it for.

This is a good purchase for the price. It fits my iPhone easily and holds it securely.

The build quality is high, even though its body is made of plastic. Even with the heavy iPhone 13Pro, I was able to balance it at a variety of lengths without wobbling. Mine didn’t feel like it would snap.

Extending the arm of this stick is the easiest design I’ve ever tried. Just push or pull and it extends or retracts to your desired length.

I like that the remote control attaches to the stick so that it stores easily. It’s more convenient than having to go digging for it in a storage bag.

I found it easy to pack in a kit bag without adding weight. Note that it’s a bit bulkier than a straight stick because of the handle, but this is one of its best features because it allowed me to rotate the camera even after I had the set the length of the stick.

I was mortified when my hubby suggested getting this, mostly for family style pictures when we're out and about. I didn't want to be those people with a selfie stick pointing in front of themselves taking pics but it really does work great.
It comes with a remote so you can take single shots or rapid shots ( I accidentally took 36 of the same photo, lol). Now hubby won't leave home without it

J'ai essayé pas mal de bâtons à selfie; des petits, des moyens, des grands; certains avec un déclencheur, d'autres sans. Mais celui-ci a une fonction qui m'intrigue : une poignée pour faire des panoramas. En effet, la poignée se soulève, pour déverrouiller le mécanisme de pivot et sert de guide. Ça fonctionne assez bien, je dois l'avouer. Mais...

1- à part la tige télescopique, toutes les composantes sont en plastique; un plastique qui ne me semble pas très robuste. J'ai manipulé le bâton avec l'incessante crainte de briser quelque chose.
2- ce bâton n'est vraiment pas fait pour l'extérieur. Les quatre pieds sont relativement solides... sur un terrain plat et à niveau. Pas question de l'utiliser dehors, où il y a la moindre bosse, car il se met à ballotter dans tous les sens. Il suffirait pourtant de rajouter simplement des niveleurs à vis aux pieds pour rendre le bâton beaucoup plus fonctionnel.
3- Un problème courant avec ce modèle de bâton, c'est qu'il peut s'étirer à une hauteur surprenante, c'est vrai, mais plus il est haut, moins les pieds suffisent à maintenir l'équilibre. S'il est à la pleine hauteur, il est facile de manœuvrer le bras à panorama et renverser le trépied par mégarde et à l'extérieur, sur terrain plat, le moindre coup de vent menace de le renverser.
4- Le déclencheur Bluetooth est une bonne idée en théorie. Beaucoup de bâtons en ont un. Le problème est que ce n'est pas rare que la pile est à plat quand vient le temps de l'utiliser si vous ne l'utilisez pas tous les jours, ou très souvent. Il faut penser à charger le déclencheur avant de l'utiliser.

Bref, c'est une belle idée, mais l'exécution n'est pas particulièrement réussie. Pour le prix demandé, il existe des bâtons beaucoup plus solides. Probablement avec moins de fonction, c'est vrai, mais qui risque de durer plus longtemps.
