I really enjoy the taste of this monk fruit sweetener. It is very strong so best to try 2-3 drops and add more if you need it. I don’t find it has an aftertaste but I use only 3-4 drops in my tea. I am sure if you make yours very sweet, this will leave that sweet aftertaste behind because it is so strong. I highly recommend it for anyone cutting sugar from their diet.

Really great quality. I had to purchase this because I can't find pure Monk Fruit in my area. Most have Erythritol and Stevia mixed in. This product you don't need very many drops to sweeten anything. I plan to purchase again.

I absolutely love this monk fruit sweetener! The only issue I have is with the price constantly fluctuating. Sometimes it's 19.99 and the next day it's 14.99 and it goes up and down in between. It's very frustrating because we can't find it in store here and we use it a lot. Recently we bought one at 19.99 and the seal was broken, it was absolutely awful trying to contact anyone about it. We were told to contact the manufacturer and they said they couldn't do anything about it. So buyer beware!

I was expecting a sweetener for my carnavore lifestyle however this product was absolutely terrible. Monk fruit gradular is a pleasant flavour much like sugar but this liquid was bitter. It ruined my coffee . Don't buy this if you want a zero calorie sweetener. Waste of money.

I wanted to see if this would be better than stevia in water-based beverages, where you can really detect the aftertaste in all it's potency. It's not. It has a different aftertaste, but it's still very 'weird' tasting in it's own way.

Furthermore I didn't find my beverage that sweet after shaking the bottle vigorously and dispensing a full 10 drops, past the higher end of the recommended 5-8 drops per serving scale. I don't like things overly sweet, so around that much is just barely enough, but say that you want to make your own soda-stream diet soda, your going to need a good 15+ drops per glass minimum, approx 1/5-1/4tsp per 1L bottle. Combine that with the still present aftertaste and much higher price, and it's just not a great buy over stevia.

    UPDATE:

It takes approx 1/8 tsp or around 20 drops to sweeten two large glasses of liquid.

This works out to roughly 95 servings per container.

The current Price is $19 CAD, so approx 20c per serving/glass

A similar stevia product promises 80 servings and costs around $6. Adding a small margin for error, stevia works out to approx 9c per serving.

If you use sweetener sparingly in strong drinks like milk tea, and really don't like the taste of stevia, then try this monk fruit extract. It is a little less intense and very different, but still has a strong alternative sweetener taste, in the same way stevia does. Cost wise though, a $20 bottle won't last you as long if you are making your own healthy 'diet sodas'. I didn't find it much more neutral tasting than stevia personally.

    Excellent product -- only 2-4 drops ( 0.1-0.2 ml ) Sweeten up 1 cup ( 250 ml ) of beverage with pleasant taste !

The Monk Fruit is 200-300 times sweeter than Cane Sugar, so be very careful - make sure not put too much - otherwise , I see some user comments saying it tastes bitter -- that could be they put too much.
