Product description
Reactine Extra Strength Allergy Liquid-Gels provides relief from itchy, watery eyes, runny nose and sneezing, stuffiness, itchy nose and throat, and allergic skin itch and hives. Reactine contains 10-milligrams of Antihistamine Cetirizine Hydrochloride. Antihistamines are your first line of defense for allergy symptom relief. Antihistamines work by blocking the sites where histamine binds. Histamine is the most abundantly released chemical and is responsible for causing most of your symptoms. Reactine provides 24-hour relief from your outdoor and indoor allergy symptoms. Understanding and recognizing the symptoms is half the battle. Allergy symptoms kick in when your immune system overreacts to substances called allergens. Indoor allergens, including mold, dust, and pet dander can cause allergy symptoms at home and at work. Since indoor allergies can be triggered any time of year, they can often be easily confused with a cold. Outdoor pollen from the spring, summer, and fall can be present inside your home too. Includes 25 liquid gels per pack. Speak to your doctor or pharmacist. To be sure this product is right for you, always read and follow the label.
From the manufacturer
ALLERGIES OR COLD? Here’s 5 quick questions that will help you figure out if those icky feelings are allergies or a cold.
1. SYMPTOMS DEVELOP SUDDENLY?
It’s likely allergies. Exposure to one of your triggers can cause an almost instant reaction whereas cold symptoms usually take a few days.
2. SORE AND ACHY?
You’re most likely suffering from a cold or flu. Feel better soon!
3. RUNNY OR STUFFY NOSE?
Not to be gross but if your snot is thick and cloudy, it’s probably a cold. If it’s thin and watery, it’s probably allergies.
4. FEELING THE HEAT?
If you have a fever, even a low-grade one (37.1 to 37.5 °C), it’s most likely a cold.
5. IS IT ALLERGY SEASON?
If you think your allergies are coming from outside, do yourself a favour and check the pollen forecast. It’s more fun than you think.
FINAL THOUGHT: CONSIDER THE SEASON
Sure, colds can happen any time but are more likely in winter. Allergies prefer the rest – spring, summer, and fall. If your symptoms happen at the same time each year, you probably have seasonal allergies.
