I bought this in Â鶹Çø warehouse deals for two thirds of the price. It was classified under used-acceptable which is third or fourth tier I believe. Only thing I noticed was a deep scratch in the box!! Controller is perfect and so is the cable which seems to be still factory wrapped. I highly doubt it was even used. Very surprised and happy. I tested it and everything works as it should. Warehouse deals can be a little like roulette. I have received the wrong controller in the right box before. Who knows, maybe I got lucky this time.

    Really enjoy the Wolverine v3 Tournament edition, on my PC mostly playing fast paced FPS (COD Warzone)

    I¡¯m enjoying:
    1\ The controller fits well with perfect weight and ergonomics
    2\ Buttons are responsive and fast
    3\ Fast polling rate and wired connection works perfectly
    4\ Back buttons are perfect.

    I switched to this controller from an Elite Series 2 which developed shoulder button issues after 3 years of regular (weekly/daily)

    Th controller itself is pretty decent but the cord that connects to it is not. The cord isn't directly in the controller which means you can remove it. While playing a game the controller disconnects once per every 10 minutes and you have to reconnect it due to the cord getting lose.

    This is the best designed and built controller I have ever used. It is the most responsive and most satisfying to use. I swapped the oem cable for a lightweight braided usb c (I think from pulsar?) and it now feels light and perfectly balanced.

    The razer software for controller customization leaves a little bit to be desired, but it functions well and has no annoying bloat. I wish the thumb sticks were convex/domed, rather than concave, but that¡¯s easily fixed and just personal preference.

    If I could give it more than 5 stars I would.

Triggers and Bumpers are the best feeling ones I've ever used. Definitely an improvement over the V2. Will see how the hall effect sticks last but it also should be good.

    Ive used every controller you can think of, i randomly wanted to try this bc i got bored of my ps5 edge and let me tell you i was surprised how solid of a roller this is. Amazing paddles, great mouse click buttons. Definitely ome of the better rollers to get. Better then the elite, better then most custom rolers that are a total rip off... thank u razer keep it up!

    If you¡¯re using it for xbox after about 3-6 months the wired cord just stops working. The older v2 model lasted me 2 years of every day use. This one lasted 4 months before issues started.

    In conclusion its a good controller except it has a terrible connection cord which unfortunately makes it terrible¡­ just buy the v2 if you want a wired controller.

    I had bought this controller because of the advertised PC compatibility and "SIX remappable buttons". I expected that, seeing it is a Razer product, it would have had the same Razer Synapse support as my other Razer products that have remapping capabilities to mouse/keyboard keystrokes. It was an EXTREME disappointment to find out that it is not supported. I mean, for a $160 controller, it's only logical it would be supported! The buttons can ONLY be remapped to copy other buttons that already exist on the controller. Why would I need two 'A' buttons, let alone SIX copies of the buttons I already have?! It makes zero sense to not have the ability to bind the keys to mouse/keyboard seeing as it is used on the PC. Steam doesn't even recognize the extra 6 buttons, so it's impossible to create a script to bypass this restriction! A complete waste of my money!!

    After a much further deep dive into 3rd party software, and many other sources for product reviews, I see that this is one of the main complaints from people who purchased this controller as well. I wanted to stay loyal to Razer, but unfortunately I am returning it and spending a little more money on the XBOX Elite controller that I know for sure has this capability.

    Other than the misleading advertisement of the remappable buttons, the controller looks and feels great! If it were a legitimate PC compatible controller, it would probably be one of the best out there! But, I am giving it a 3-star rating because of my time wasted purchasing this product, and the disappointment that it was not at all what I was expecting. I felt misled by the product advertising.

    I love the ergonomics and feel of this controller compared to the previous iterations of the Wolverine model, the only complaint is that the usb-c cable that came with it has a terrible connectivity issue that will result in the controller disconnecting mid-game and prompting you with an error message that is easily cleared once you turn the controller back on. I frustratingly lost multiple matches due to this issue and ultimately resorted to using another usb-c cable that I had on hand that amazingly hasn¡¯t had any connectivity issues since using it; you would figure for the price of this controller that Razer wouldn¡¯t cheap out on such a critical component, as my Wolverine V1 & V2 Xbox controllers never had this problem

    Update: I reached out to Razer about the poor quality of the connection, and they stressed to me that the issue I had should not be a regular occurrence with the product and quickly issued a warranty replacement. Within 1 week I was able to have to controller replaced, and the new controller has not had any connectivity issues for over a month now

    This controller has got a lot going for it, feels great in every way, I was used to dual rear paddles, but adapted quickly to 4 and stopped using front buttons completely. And the trigger locks have upped my game considerably, but it¡¯s all for naught since this controller has some serious reliability flaws on PC.

    I play hours of competitive pvp daily and this controller will work fine for about a week or two before it starts exhibiting serious issues.

    1st controller: worked solid for about two weeks before the haptic feedback would suddenly jump to max and keep vibrating excessively while jerking my aim in random directions, have to fight the stick to get it back on target and unplug the controller and replug it to stop the excessive vibrating. The issue is progressive, it started happening once every couple of days and slowly progressed until it was happening several times a match, totally unacceptable.

    I returned it for a replacement which was solid for about a week then suddenly began disconnecting in the middle of a match, constantly¡­ I had about 10 disconnected controller errors in a 15 minute period. This was not a physical wire connection issue as others have had, pressing any button would immediately get the controller working and the error would go away until the next one popped up.

    Both controllers also have some stick drift on the left stick out of the box when set to 3% dead zone, but not terrible. Flicking the stick causes it to reset properly and stop drifting, my 2nd controller has the least drift. Setting the zone to 0% causes a lot of drift, so I keep it at 3%. In comparison, my gamesir T4 had zero drift with 0% dead zone, it took 7 months of daily use to cause just a tiny bit of drift at 0%, unfortunately the back buttons do not last and begin sticking after constant use, which led me to the Razer controller.

    I paid full price for the razer and did not get a free one, so this is my honest review of a $100 controller with serious glitches. Great packaging and premium feel (when it works.) amazon won¡¯t give me a 3rd replacement, so I¡¯ll just have to return for a refund, which is too bad because I really like this controller, but I can¡¯t be out $100 for something that is giving me these kinds of problems when controllers for less than half the price don¡¯t have these kinds of issues.

    I would steer clear; you can google the issues above and find that many people are having similar problems with this controller.

    One other issue I had with this controller on PC is that my keyboard and mouse will not work in game while this controller is connected. This prevents being able to utilize any sort of chat function or alternative control of your character while the controller inevitably glitches out. Even going into windowed mode to try and do something on the desktop while the game runs keeps my mouse function locked out, I have to ctrl+alt+delete to get it back. I've never encountered this issue with any other controller on PC.

    Also, as others have pointed out, the USB-C connection on this controller is as cheap as they come. It's the only physical part of the controller that feels like complete junk, it disconnects easily and wiggles under the weight of the cable right out of the box. Terrible oversight considering this is a wired only controller. If you're set on taking on the challenge of owning this controller, I would seriously suggest using a Mag safe usb-c style connection adapter so that you can minimize wear on the port.

    *Update*

    I had to downgrade my rating from 3 stars to 1 star. I thought I had been able to address the random disconnect error by using Xbox polling mode (250Mhz) instead of PC mode (1000mhz), this actually stopped the random d/c errors, and I was willing to use 250hz for reliability. However, a new problem entirely has emerged; the controller now just shuts itself off completely in the middle of a game. Pressing any button does nothing to turn it back on. I have to disconnect it from the PC and reconnect, then press the Xbox button repeatedly-almost like I'm giving the dumb thing CPR to get to 'come back to life.' A few times I thought it was dead completely because it didn't respond after repeated attempts, but it eventually comes back on, absolutely ridiculous. It's already cost me a competitive match, such unreliable junk unworthy of "Tournament" anywhere in its name.

    It's really unfortunate, because the Razer design team did a fantastic job on this controller, if only the hardware and software team were as good. Because for whatever reason, this controller is determined to misbehave no matter what you do to try to make it work. And I see this is a common theme across many of Razer's devices.
