    These head phones are great, they sound great, work great, but there is this insanely annoying buzzing / electrical interference sound when no sound is going through them. Tried my old razer headphones and they don’t do this.. not sure why these are making this sound but it makes me not even want to wear them. Not sure what Razer can do about this.

    First Impression: This looks like a great, affordable and functional headset with pretty good features (mute button on headset, adjustable volume knob, multi-platform functionality (xbox, pc, etc). Unfortunately it falls short in nearly every other category. Does it work, yes. Does it work well, no.

    Pros:
    - Affordable
    - Convenient Features (USB-C/A Adapter, Volume Knob, Mute Button, Retractable Mic)
    .....That's it.

    Cons:
    - Audio quality is quite poor, and should certainly be better at this price point, specifically the bass. It almost seems like the treble is cranked to make up for other areas and results in average at best sound quality.
    - Mic quality is......terrible. Now you might be saying "well the audio is poor, but it's a gaming headset" no.......the main part of a gaming headset is the microphone. During testing the mic quality was comparable to an xbox 360 mic and much worse than my 8 year old Kraken 7.1 this was suppose to replace. Thinking the 7.1 software would improve this I installed it, while it did improve the audio at the same time it made directional audio based games HORRIBLE. I don't know what this software does but footsteps in CS2 were muffled and just sounded like they would coming from all over.
    - Comfort is average. These headsets did feel as if they "squished" my head together and I have an average-sized head, maybe they need to be worn in but they didn't feel very comfortable. User experience may vary.

    - Additional Note/Issue: In my short ownership I experienced the headset losing connection from my pc (top mounted usb-port). I discovered this to be when the cable was moved around the micro USB inside the USB was wiggling and losing connection. Not sure if this is the case with all of these headsets or just mine, but watch out.

    I would say don't buy, but also can't recommend a good alternative as I ended up repairing my older headset which now works just fine. I'm POSITIVE there is a better buy for this price point, perhaps check out Steel Series.

    They work great. They don't work with usb extension cables though. Disable the mic button on the side because you will hear "mic on or mic off" every time you put them on.

    I like the razer headsets. This is number 3 for me (for multiple computers,)
    They all have very good sound and great mic pickups. Comfortable over the ear.
    My only issue with this one is lack of support for THX sound.

    I didn't realize this one wouldn't connect to the razer synapse. There is another with Chroma in the name that does connect. Unlike my old one, this one's connectivity goes much further. I couldn't walk more than 10 ft from computer when the old one was in use. This one. I can walk over 40 ft away and it still has connectivity. Its wonderful
