    I put off buying this book for so long as the core premise of the story just didn’t gab me.

    But I have the Many deaths of Laila Starr and that book is beyond exquisite

    In the end I relented and don’t regret a single penny or moment spent on this new Rare Favours title.

    Just incredibly delicious and heart warming with a hint of better sweetness for the soul. And that’s before you even getting to the kaleidoscopic and vibrant artwork

    A must have for the real collector’s collection

    It is a truly fascinating story, interspersed with recipes of famous dishes. It is a tale of food, spices, and people. It is people who make the food all the more enticing, the people who grow and sell the spices, the cooks who spend hours and days preparing food. They give of their time and enhance the food with their passion for it. But there is an old demon in this story, and he is a cook too. He eats enormous amounts of food, because of people. He eats people because of the food. He hires a young delicious filmmaker to tell his story. Will the filmmaker become a meal for the demon? Has he come under the spell of the demon? Will he become a demon himself? What will happen to the demon? What of the people who are hunting him?
