How to determine whether a dash cam has a parking monitor function?

Make sure your dash cam has a parking monitor function in the dash cam settings menu; otherwise, do not purchase this hardwire kit.

Make sure the red, yellow, and black wires are properly connected before connecting the car camera for the hardwire kit to work.

Why did the dash cam stop working after a period of use?

When the car voltage is lower than 11.8V / 23.6V, 12V / 24V, 12.4V / 24.8V, the dash cam stops working, leaving enough power to start the engine.

Why can't the dash cam be activated by plugging in the red wire (ACC)?

The red wire(ACC) is a signal wire and the yellow wire(BAT) is the power wire.

If only the red wire (ACC) is connected, the dash cam cannot be turned on because the ACC wire is a signal wire used to detect whether the car is started or turned off.
Why can't the dash cam be activated by plugging in the yellow wire(BAT)?

If only the yellow wire (BAT) is connected, the dash cam can boot directly, but there is no signal to prove that the car is turned off, so the parking monitoring function of the dash cam cannot be activated.
Why doesn't it work after a period of use?

The Hardwire Kit comes with a sensitive voltage sensing switch, which will monitor the car battery voltage in real-time.

Once the voltage is lower than 11.8V or 23.6V, it will cut the power supply, leaving enough power to ignite the engine.
