Rain‑X Anti-Fog prevents fogging of interior windshields, windows and mirrors before the problem begins. Great for use on automotive, home and marine interior glass and mirrors.

Directions

  • Clean and dry interior glass surfaces.
  • Spray a small amount of Anti-Fog on to a 100% cotton cloth or paper towel.
  • Wipe Anti-Fog on to the glass surface one section at a time.
  • Do a final wipe with the dry side of the towel to leave a streak-free coating.

Bought to keep the mirror clear after shower. Worked amazing for the first shower, thought “this stuff rules” now after a second shower the next day and it’s pic attached. Might work better on a car windshield but definitely doesn’t last in a steamy bathroom.

    Followed the instructions to the T. Still get fog forming on the front window, but not so much on the side windows. Downside, there is a faintly visible film on the front glass, that no matter how much you polish and wipe with a clean terry cloth, does not ever seem to come off. Of course if you wipe with glass cleaner, it goes away, but so does the coating that supposedly prevents the fogging. I may resort to using the same treatment on my hockey visor (wipe down with shampoo and polish clean), to see if that works better. Will update the review after I give this a couple more tries, but for now, its only "MEH".

    Updated: Have bumped this up from 2 stars to 4 stars. On the recommendation of a buddy of mine who swears by this prodiuct, have applied 3 more coats of the anti-fog, allowing each layer to dry before re-applying the next coat. No more streaking, or at least the streaking is now very minimal, and not so visible. Still get a bit of fogging on the glass, but only 10% when compared to the one window I left untreated, to just test performance.

    Can now recommend this product.

    leaves a white film on the mirror no matter how much you buff it. After buffing it clear, the the white haze still returns day after day which make the mirror look dirty. Keep buffing it clear until there's not product left on the glass. I would say it does not work because of this annoying problem.

    I have a window in my house that needs replacing as it constantly fogs up. As it’s winter, I do not want to replace it until the summer. This worked amazingly! I wiped and dried the window with paper towel, sprayed on the RainX, and wiped the excess with new paper towel. No more fogging!
