Product description

Rain Bird SW20-30PS Drip Irrigation Spot Watering Dripper/Emitter, 2.0 Gallon Per Hour, 30-Pack. This robust pressure-compensating emitter provides a medium-high 2.0 gallon-per-hour flow rate. Ideal for watering root zones of garden and landscape plants, shrubs, bushes, small trees and medium size containers. Rain Bird's pressure-compensating design ensures all plants receive the desired watering rate regardless of their position along the distribution tubing run. Uniform flow is delivered throughout a wide pressure range from 15 to 50 PSI. Barbed ends securely retain 1/4" Drip tubing for a leak-proof connection. Self-piercing barb allows for direct insertion into the side of 1/2" or larger Drip irrigation tubing, or use with 1/4" tubing for positioning near individual plants. Simple to insert by hand, or for faster installation use one of Rain Bird’s insertion tools (sold separately): ET/1PK25S, HPUN1-1S, and HPTCX. Designed with large water passages and self-flushing action to help prevent clogging. Constructed of highly durable UV and chemical-resistant materials to withstand adverse conditions. Rain Bird emitters are color coded to easily identify flow rate. Convenient plastic bag contains (30) red-colored emitters. Also available in: 0.5, and 1.0, and 5.0 GPH flow rates to customize watering of varying plant types and sizes. Rain Bird "The Intelligent Use of Water"

2 GPH Spot Emitters

30 Pack.

Pressure compensating and clog-resistant emitters provide dependable watering performance. Promote green, healthy plant growth thoughout your planting area.

For tubing runs greater than 5 feet away from the main distribution tubing, the emitter should be inserted inline near the plants. Shown with Rain Bird TS20/10PS ¼” tubing stake and bug cap.

For short tubing runs less than 5 feet, the emitter can be inserted directly into the side of the ½” distribution tubing. The emitter’s sharp barb makes this easy to do by hand, or by using the Rain Bird emitter installation tool ET/1PK25S.

Emitters are color coded for easy identification when seting up or repairing your system: red (2 gph), black (1 gph) and tan (5 gph).

I have over 30 plants on one 1/2” hose and the drip emitters either right off the main, or into 1/4 inch tubing, set on a timer automatic waterer. It cuts the work, and saves so much water! Where have these been all my life? Planning on doing my whole yard with this system as well as seedling tree lines for our little farm. Work smarter not harder ;)
