    The LNK2 Wifi Module works great with my ESP-TM2 6-zone irrigation system. I can now manually control my irrigation system without having to physically go to my garage (where the controller is located) to do manual irrigation. The only caveat here is that the instructions state the WiFi module can only connect to 2.4 GHz internet. But I was able to connect to my 5Ghz network without issues (your experience may differ). Make sure your modem or network can handle this lower bandwidth to avoid product disappointment.

    I think I have reviewed this item before but I am getting request it again?
    The item works as advertised but it will only work with 1.0 update. I tried it with the two update and it told me it was not compatible. I was about to return it, but then I thought OK the QR code is on my controller, so I downloaded version 1.0 on a QR on my Rain Bird controller.
    Once I downloaded the 1.0 worked like a charm I just thought people out there know it will not work with the 2.0 what this means is you have to have one of the older controllers so ensure you look up your model make, and the year it was produced to check for compatibility
    Anyway, that’s the reason for the four-star review, if you follow the above and have one of the older controllers, I suggest you will probably give it a five star.

Because I'm using an older Rain-Bird TM controller I must use the legacy iPhone app which is missing some of the newer features of the most recent version. Still this new LNK2 is a superior WiFi module and I'm glad I picked it. Network connection on it is quicker and signal stronger. It's easy to install and the app steps you through setup. I can control and make setting changes to my sprinkler on my iPhone from anywhere.
