By far my favourite one so far. Everything works perfectly (make sure you're VERY careful and read the instructions!). It IS difficult to get the cuckoo to chime EXACTLY on the hour - mine's about 3 minutes before but I can live with that.

Wish the cuckoo would chime the proper time (it only cuckoos 3 times no matter the hour) but then again, I don't want it cuckooing overnight and you can turn it off. So I'm okay with that.

This is one of THE cutest and most fun Rokr projects I’ve done yet. I also built the “wood” color. This painted version is much cuter.
Overall this is easy to follow and has a way to test the electronics before the point of no return (unlike my phonograph , which is noe a boat anchor due to the motor being faulty.)
My only tiny complaints are as follows:
1) Be careful when putting painted tabs in slots. Sometimes the top layer of paint can rub off as you insert into the tab. Not a show stopper.
2) When building the small moveable shutters that open and close, sand a tiny bit of the shutter tab off to make it more round before inserting it into the round piece so that the shutter swings open and closed more freely. My first build I didn’t do this, and it was so tight it got stuck and broke off when I opened the shutter.
3) Pay close attention to calibrating the quartz movement by doing exactly as the instructions say: use the small screwdriver to rotate the movement counter clockwise JUST until you hear the click. Stop, then place the hands all stacked at 12 oclock position and you’ll be good to go.
Overall still 5 stars because not only is it cute as a button, it is really nice to have the cuckoo chirp on the hour. That function is easily disabled as well.
(PS) I used a tiny brush and painted the wings of the bird with a bit of acrylic paint for added cuteness.

I absolutely loved building this ROKR Cuckoo Clock! As a fan of puzzles and unique home decor, this hit the sweet spot. The laser cut wooden pieces were precise and well-labeled, making the building time feel smooth and rewarding. The instructions were clear, and I found the whole process great for a relaxing afternoon.

The final product is just stunning. The silk-printed details and layered design give it an impressive 3D effect, and the little cuckoo bird is beyond adorable it pops out, flaps its wings, and chirps on the hour! The instructions and labels are very good, just take your time and follow them. The cuckoo comes out and flaps its wings every hour (three times, regardless of the time). A pull chain can be used to illuminate the clock. The water wheel spins freely if turned by hand, but it is not automated.

Anyone who enjoys kit assembly should love this project and the end result is a genuine wood clock that appears more costly than the kit price.

This is a great puzzle. I've put together this one and the natural color version, and this design is the best Rokr has done so far. The only problem is I can't get the light to work.

Pieces are easy to remove, they fit together nicely. First time I've finished a Rokr without bruised fingers. I was glad there were no gluing in this. There are small screws but they're a reasonable size and easy to reach where they need to go.

You need to supply scissors to cut a piece of string. Everything else is included, such as the screwdriver.

Very cool you can use 3 AAA batteries or plug in with a type-c charger. It did take me about 8 hours to assemble.

The colors on this are really nice. They're the right color tone to match the vibe of this kit. The colors make finding pieces easier compared to the natural option. It's made of wood.

I suppose kids can help with this, but it's best suited for older kids, teenagers to adults. Won't be fun for kids. Good value overall.

It does work as a functioning clock. The charm going off on the top of the hour is great. It sounds really nice. There is not a silent mode that I can see.

For the light, they work on testing before assembly. Once assembled, the way it's setup I unfortunately couldn't get it to work. I tried to unasswmble and ended up breaking the house, repairable. Suggestion is before putting the roof on figure out a different way to loop in the light.
