These RockBros hybrid MTB Nylon pedals are great! I have put a bunch of miles on these now, pavement, single track and all sorts of varied terrain and I'm plenty happy with the performance. I've never ridden Nylon pedals before but I'm warming up to them quite a bit. They are light and widened for regular shoes if you want to ride flat pedals. The flip side has SPD compatible hardware and the pedals come with the shoe hardware if you want to ride clipless, all you need is the shoe.
I am accustomed to riding clipless pedals for the ultimate control of the bike, but as I get older I'm not always riding down technical single tracks and sometimes just like to go for a casual ride or let a friend test out my bike, the flat pedal side is very convenient. If I get the urge to go hit some technical stuff I can change my shoes and lock into these without changing my pedals. Love em!
Don't need a pedal wrench for these, there's no grip for it. But the back of the pedal has an Allen/Hex key spot for easy install. Steel threads, screwed into my Coda cranks perfectly and precisely.
Pay attn to the labeling on pedals there's a left and a right. Also left and right pedals both rotate towards the front of the bike to tighten. So right is clockwise, left side is counterclockwise.
