Dual sided, with edges designed for tongue and groove and click-lock floors, this patented D-handle tapping block works with most types of flooring including resilient vinyl tile, laminate and hardwood planks. Robust yet easy to use, the offset handle allows you to secure the flooring in place using a soft-head mallet to tap and connect boards. US Patent No. 12,188,242.

ROBERTS Tapping Block for Engineered Hardwood, Laminate, Resilient Vinyl Tile Flooring

  • IDEAL TO PUSH PLANKS TOGETHER. Designed to gently push flooring planks together creating a tight seam without damaging the joining grooves of the flooring or your fingers.
  • FOR USE WITH MOST TYPES OF FLOORING. Double-sided, with edges designed for use with most types of flooring including resilient vinyl tile, laminate, and hardwood planks.
  • LARGER STRIKING PLATES AND D-HANDLE. These larger plates improve efficiency, the large polypropylene D-handle is raised for added clearance and closed for improved grip.
  • 3- 1/2" WIDTH PROTECTS THE FLOORING DURING INSTALLATION. The 3- 1/2 in. width provides plenty of space to tap with a soft head mallet or rubber only, not with a metal hammer, to protect your click-lock edge or tongue and groove flooring from damage during installation.
  • TWIST-LOCK KNOB FOR BETTER GRIP. Twist-lock knob secures the handle in place for both click-lock and tongue and groove flooring.
