- Reviewed in Canada on June 17, 2025Verified PurchaseAbsolutely better than the old one and great price for the quality. Good starter mold for those wanting to try dice making but not ready to make the investment in a silicone mold. No raised faces and has lasted 10 pours already and holding up!
- Reviewed in Canada on January 29, 2025Verified PurchaseThe numbers don’t come out well, the mold wasn’t done properly so some of the numbers are patchy, flush with the dice face

5.0 out of 5 stars easy to use mold
Verified PurchaseThe RESINWORLD Upgraded 9-Piece Polyhedral Dice Mold Set is a fantastic addition for any DIY enthusiast, especially those who are into creating custom Dungeons & Dragons (DND) dice, pendants, or other resin-based crafts. This mold set is of excellent quality, and after using it to make my own dice and crystal pendants, I’m thoroughly impressed with the results.
The molds are made from premium silicone, which is soft yet durable. They have a nice flexibility that allows the resin to pop out easily without losing detail. The silicone is thick enough to provide stability during the curing process but still flexible enough for easy removal. The overall quality is top-notch and ensures that your final products will have smooth edges and a glossy finish.
This set includes 7 polyhedral dice molds (D20, D12, D10, D8, D6, D4, and a D10 percentile), as well as additional pendant molds for making crystal-shaped dice and accessories. This makes it a very comprehensive set for anyone wanting to create a full set of custom dice or experiment with making dice-shaped jewelry and pendants. If you're a DND player, having a full set of custom, homemade dice adds a personal touch to your gaming experience.
The molds are very user-friendly. I was able to easily pour the resin into each mold without worrying about spills or uneven filling. The molds have just the right amount of flexibility, so once the resin sets, it comes out easily without sticking or tearing. The molds are also designed to be non-stick, which makes cleaning up a breeze.
One of the most exciting aspects of these molds is the endless possibilities for customization. You can mix and match different colors of resin, add glitter, crystals, or even tiny inclusions like dried flowers or tiny charms to create truly unique, personalized dice. For example, I was able to make a beautiful crystal-inspired D4 pendant with swirls of metallic resin, and it turned out beautifully with sharp, clean edges.
If you’re an avid Dungeons & Dragons player, this mold set is perfect for crafting your own custom dice set. Not only does it give you the freedom to choose your own colors, but it also allows you to experiment with different textures and designs, so each die is unique. Whether you're playing in person or just collecting custom dice for display, this mold set is a fun and creative way to enhance your collection.
The set comes with clear instructions, which is helpful for beginners. It provides helpful tips on how to pour the resin, how to achieve the best results, and how to properly remove your dice from the mold once cured. While this is straightforward for anyone with resin experience, even beginners will appreciate the extra guidance.
After several uses, the molds have shown no signs of wear or tearing. The silicone material is flexible yet durable enough to withstand repeated use, which means this mold set should last a long time without losing its shape or quality.
The RESINWORLD Upgraded 9-Piece Polyhedral Dice Mold Set is an excellent product for anyone into DIY resin crafts, DND, or creating custom dice sets. The molds are high-quality, easy to use, and provide endless creative possibilities. Whether you want to make your own personalized dice, create resin pendants, or experiment with new resin techniques, this set is perfect for both beginners and more experienced crafters. The ability to create your own custom dice and jewelry pieces is not only fun but allows you to add a personal touch to your DND game or crafting collection. Highly recommend it for anyone looking to dive into resin crafting or looking for a fun new hobby project!

3.0 out of 5 stars A great mold, BUT
Verified PurchaseFrom an overall perspective, this is a pretty good mold. I like the alternative d4 shapes, and it produces pretty darn good casts. Plus, they stiffened the top surface of the mold somehow to make it sturdier. BUT. Whatever they did to stiffen the surface somehow made my epoxy resin bond to it. I spent like an hour trying to pull it off without breaking the mold apart. Thankfully I had the idea to dissolve the resin with acetone and saved myself the additional hour it would've taken, but that shouldn't have happened in the first place.

4.0 out of 5 stars A lot of fun being a cool grandma
Verified PurchaseI have tried several companies dice molds. This is the best one so far. I would give it 4 1/2 stars but that isn't an option. I have tried epoxy resin, UV resin and even air dry clay (which works really nice) In the end they are all wonderful until I remove the top after curing. When I tried UV Resin and after a few weeks they leaked having not completely cured in the middle. That said if I layered it and cured it by each layer it was pretty good. However...when I remove the top I get little air bubble holes. I have coated the top with resin prior to placing it on the base mold. I have tried curing it upside down and right side up and I still have little holes somewhere. I'll keep working at it and see how it goes.
The ones that did turn out (about 50+ of them) I boxed up and gave to my grandson for Christmas...who loves playing D&D. He's 13 so he doesn't care about the imperfections. He tells his friends his grandmother made him D&D dice! So proud when he tells me I'm his cool grandma.
Some of them I made keychains with. I'll keep working with it. I can't say it is user error but I've made over 100 of these, some leaked and had to be discarded. Others it's hard to color the numbers because of the holes and difficult to fix by filling in.

5.0 out of 5 stars Artists
Verified PurchaseThis mold works but the artist needs to be careful
It has potential to have one raised side
And if you’re not careful you’ll get bubbles at the top .
USE A SYRINGE TO FILL IT so you get all the corners . Using a syringe also helps eliminate a good amount of bubbles .
If u don’t have a vaccume pot or heat gun you’re probably not going to like your ending result .
You can also take a 18g blunt tip needle syringe and stick it into the edges when you see bubbles forming at the top after you’ve snapped the lid but be careful because the more resin you have between the parts where the top and bottom touch. The more of a raised surface your going to have
