Pros:
Build quality: It is a solid device, the hinge is strong and has good friction to it. There are no seams or play in plastic construction. It's been really hot, inside temperature of the car must've been around 60~70C, but the dashcam is still working well.
Image quality: Image quality is good, I can read license plate of the cars around. But nothing crazy
App UI: The red tiger app is easy to use. Connecting to the dashcam through the WiFi is easy. I haven't experience challenges in connecting. GPS history is great because it helps finding footage.
Good design: the device is small enough that it hides behind the rear facing mirror. Thanks to all the cable management accessories it came with, my installation looks really clean. Adhesive is strong enough that it doesn't come off after -30C winter and 40C summer weather

Cons:
Flipped rear camera: The rear camera is mounted upside down for cable management. There is a software toggle switch in the app that allows mirror and upside down image flip. However, these settings never gets applied in recording. Not sure if it is a bug or if I'm doing something wrong.

Update to my review; I've noticed there's a few reviews stating that camera keeps turning itself off and on. I had this issue with one of the 2 dashcams in installed in my cars after about 5 months. I believed my issue was a defective camera was ready to contact Redtiger for warranty claim. Thought I'd check on some forums first and realized a couple of people had similar problems. Turns out it a defective MicroSD issue rather than Dashcam. Formatting doesn't work as it's corrupted. Had another 256gb card laying around installed and formatted an no more reboot. So if your having similar issues change MicroSD card. 6 months on still think it's best quality and value for money dashcam for those of us who prefer not having a screen and more stealthy unit.

I was worried that app would be absolutely garbage like most anything around or below $300 price range. Most dashcam that have goods apps cost around $500.00. But it is truly a dedicated app not a generic slightly modified. Easy to understand, navigate and adjust camera settings. Image quality is great also. I wanted a front and rear view camera without screen. Either they make the camera to big or screen is so small it's pointless. I can view and download images from my phone in a minute. This camera has features and quality of other brands twice the price. I end up ordering a second one for my wifes car. I'll be ordering a 3rd soon for our other car too. Highly recommend this if your looking for high quality video and stable reliable app and have no need for display on camera itself.

It's a good camera it isn't one of the best I've had one that has an interior facing camera which also points to the rear as well as a forward facing and screen that was approximately the same size and perhaps a quarter of an inch bigger all the way around and while I'm used to that one I really can't compare the two so let's just look at what we've got here.
Although the camera is rated what they're stating I it definitely doesn't take image quality that good during the day in normal lighting it's good but as the light begins to diminish and then into the evening the actual images and video degrade rather quickly.
That's what the forward facing with the rear facing the images are again much like the front facing camera and at night time I've got mine mounted inside the vehicle there's a lot of weird stuff going on and people are breaking cameras and all that weird stuff so I put mine inside and you know part of it is due to the glass that it's going through but realistically dusk Till Dawn images and video are really poor quality.
the app is pretty easy and straightforward and rather intuitive which I you know kind of makes up for the inferior quality images but at the end of the day you can set and adjust a lot of your camera settings through the app much easier than trying to fiddle with the camera itself.
You can also download images fairly quickly they do include an SD card with the camera which I suppose is a nice touch but I'm often Leary and somewhat reluctant to use what is provided because the cost of the camera itself is fairly low and then to throw in and a MicroSD card that's typically in the $30 range tells me a lot about the overall cost and net profit of the camera.
The cabling is pretty straightforward what you would find with any camera I'm running it down the pillars and around the dash and everything was super easy they do include a plastic tool so you don't scratch your interior trim which I'll admit is a nice add-on.
I haven't operated this in the heat of the summer and I don't see much for cooling in terms of fins or openings so again we'll find out if this works well in plus 30° direct sunlight or not.
My previous camera I had the ability to remove it it was a magnetic Mount would have the power connections within the mount for putting up a sun shade or you know going to the dealership this one you don't have that ability so again I I paid 1/3 of the price for this that I would have for the other one so you know it's okay.

I purchased this dashcam only recently, with the hardwire kit. It arrived a few days ahead of schedule and was extremely simple to setup the hard-wiring and app connection. The hardwire kit had a minor issue and once I contacted support, they arranged delivery of a completely new kit which arrived just days later, and I completed the hard-wiring again pretty quickly. Support team is highly responsive and helpful, they also clearly answered other questions I had about the different functions. As for the camera itself, the front and rear has great quality footage and its really easy to see number plates even at night. The recordings are easy to access and save from the app, and even show speed and GPS tracking which is pretty impressive. Parking mode works great too, captures everything and saves footage if movement is detected. The camera has a USB-C connection which makes it really convenient to plug into my laptop and access files, as well as to just use with a normal charger outside of the car if I'm experimenting with different functions.
