I'm very impressed with the design and utility of this bracket. Elevating the attachment point above the center of gravity keeps the controller more balanced than designs that place the attachment point closer to the top surface of the controller. Of course, that would make storing the controller more awkward...so they cleverly made the attachment to the controller in two pieces. A small, low-profile rectangular portion that is mounted to the controller via machine screws, which in turn slides into the L-shaped bracket. The bracket slides apart for storage and the attached portion is so low=profile that it should fit into just about any case.

I should note that while this product is listed as designed for the DJI RC, RC2, and RC Pro controllers, I had no problem mounting it on my much older DJI Smart Controller (from the Mavic 2 era). You can see in the picture it balances just fine! As long as the mounting holes are M4, the included bolts will work (and you don't have M4 threads, can always get your own bolts as long as you use a low-profile head).

Helpful hint when installing: Make sure to orient the rectangular mounting bracket so that the circular indent is above the channel groove.

Regarding the strap, I found it quite easy to adjust but I would have liked a bit more range in the adjustment. The strap is adequately comfortable when wearing a collared shirt or hoodie but chafes a tiny bit with a t-shirt. However, the most glaring weak point (and a literal one at that) is that the quick disconnect mechanism on the strap is mode of what appears to be weak, brittle plastic. I do not think this will hold up long-term. Luckily, I have a lot of Peak Design straps from my camera gear, and I easily threaded some PD tethers in place of the original tethers and used one of my many PD camera straps.

When attached to my DJI RG2 controller sits perfectly balanced on my lower chest, allows thwe use of both hands without having to set the controller down. It was very easy to fit to the controller, removal of the neck strap for storage is easy with push button disconnects at the ends of the lanyard.

Have not completed age as the DJI drone is not a toy and is unsuitable for anyone under 16 years.

Da ich es von früher vom Modellflug gewohnt bin, die Fernsteuerung waagrecht vor dem Bauch ;-) zu haben, war ich froh, endlich diesen Lanyard gefunden zu haben, zu einem gerade noch akzeptablen Preis, unter 30 Euro (so ein richtiges Senderpult, in das die Fernsteuerung gelegt wird, wollte ich mir im Übrigen aber auch nicht kaufen, da zu gross). Alles ist sehr ordentlich verarbeitet, macht einen wertigen Eindruck und hält den Sender waagrecht.

Bei der Montage müssen zuerst die zwei Teile (alloy base) an der FB mit Schrauben befestigt werden. Da diese sich rasch wieder gelockert haben, habe ich etwas mittelfestes Schraubensicherungsmittel auf die Schrauben gegeben. Auf diese Schienen werden dann die Winkel von unten nach oben aufgeschoben. Die Festigkeit dieser Verbindung kann dann noch mittels der Madenschrauben an die eigenen Bedürfnisse angepasst werden: Entweder fest oder so, dass die Winkel wieder nach dem Flug entfernt werden können.
Da meine RC2 in einer Silikonhülle steckt, habe ich dort die schon vorhandenen Löcher für die Schrauben etwas vergrößert, so dass die Silikonhülle weiter genutzt werden kann.
Da mir das Produkt gefällt, habe ich diese Rezession geschrieben.

Erg mooi gemaakt product wat ook nog doet wat het beloofd! De RC2 controller hangt perfect in balans. De lengte van de Lanyard is voor mij helemaal goed. Aanpassen van de lengte is mogelijk. De ruimte voor de duimen op de control-sticks is ruim voldoende.
De installatie is eenvoudig en het inschuiven / uitschuiven van de aluminium brackets gaat soepel. Bij het uitschuiven van de brackets moet er iets meer kracht gezet worden om de brackets uit de borging te schuiven.
Al met al een heel mooie toevoeging voor mijn DJI mini 4 pro.
