    I’m really impressed by this AirTag bell. It is a really substantial build, and it cannot be opened (if anyone actually notices it) unless you have a 2mm torx driver to open the clamshell chamber. Then the actual clamping screw is hidden inside the AirTag chamber.

    I’m really sad because this bell won’t quite fit between the handlebar and the housing for my particular shift levers. And if I moved it farther away, then it would not be in easy reach from the bike grip. But if you have more than a 15mm gap between the bar and your shifter housing, you should be OK. I urge you to try it if you think it will fit on your bike. It is a really well-engineered piece of hardware.

    I think this is an awesome design for a bell.

    I’m used to seeing bells with their clapper (the thing that strikes the wall of the bell to make noise) hidden internally and controlled by a lever you push that in turn (pun not intended), rotates a wheel or disc and gives that “brrring” sound. Well, this bell turns that inside out.

    It’s got a very minimalist/industrial, quality feeling build to it. The lever and clapper are one and the same. The clapper here is a small finger tip compatible disc mounted on a spring, all dressed in cool black. It maintains a small profile overall. This is even with a built in compartment for and AirTag to track your bike’s location. I almost forgot to mention it in this review, it’s so well integrated.

    Simply pull the spring mounted clapper back and release for a very loud and satisfying PING that resonates for a few seconds. They’ll know you’re coming. It functions as expected and seems built to last. May require some cleaning here and there if you ride dirty (mud) to keep it operating at its loudest. I don’t think in could say that about an enclosed bell.

    Easy to attach to most normal diameter handlebars. If you have extra wide (thick) bars it may not work for you. My bars are oval shaped so I could not mount it securely. My wife’s bike has the typical cylindrical bars so works great.
