Excellent light output, secure mounting, convenient remote, a winner for me!
Quite impressed with this light. It's an excellent product and I think it's got a great feature set that will prove safe and reliable for me as we get into the shorter days. The Ravemen k1800 comes with the light unit, a remote mounting hardware for a handlebar, elastic bands for securing the remote as well as a dual 90° angle mini USBC to USBC connector for charging the unit or on the fly. The GoPro mount is easy mount and seems secure, the plate can easily be left on the bike to quickly remove or place the light. I haven't tried the handle bar mount but it looks good and uses the same plate mechanism which was quite secure. The light itself weighs in at 180 g. Light has convenient single button toggle for light modes as well as indicating power. Light modes go from quite bright to dim and the beam has a nice spread left to right for good coverage of the roadway. The daytime flasher is also a nice touch. The photo sensor for daytime night time is located on the same side as the button for my GoPro installation that may put it against the ground so I'm curious to see how it will work. But i believe this is the "AI system". I haven't really utilized this mode to its fullest as i ride at night/sunset pretty infrequently still. but it is nice that it will do some auto adjustment on the ride that i will need to investigate. The remote is a nice touch. Allows you to toggle light modes for pedestrian and fellow cyclist safety to not flash them in the eyes. Paired immediately. Really functioned well in my testing so far. Remote control offers a quick toggle to swap back to high power mode and maintain a lower power mode for less disturbing light. Remote takes a CR2032 coin cell. Easy to swap. Not sure how long it'll last, but it's working great so far. Light performance is excellent! I was really impressed with the brightness the high output at 1800lm is excellent for dark trails or side roads with no city lighting, no issues at all riding safely. The directional fill from side to side and the amount of detail i was able to see ahead of me even at speed. It offers a lot of confidence when you can see what is ahead of you or to the side when turning (something other lights I have tried lack). The quick toggle to bright was fantastic i love that the remote can be placed in a hand location to quickly toggle to avoid blinding pedestrians and other cyclists on the paths. I figure i was getting about 20-30m of lookahead lighting on the pathway or at least enough that i could easily tell what was coming up on the roadway even at a good 30-40 kmph. Really impressed with this light it ticks a few boxes for me. The GoPro mount typically puts the light out front in the best position. The remote toggle was way more handy than I expected. The lighting illumination level and overall beam is excellent, weight is pretty marginal for the benefit of night or early morning rides as the days get shorter. While I did receive this item for review, it is genuinely excellent and i would not have hesitated to buy with my own money given how it has performed for me.

    Light is very bright, gets a lot brighter than the other bike lights I have used in the past. Mounting and installation was quite easily and it fit securely on my handlebars. It comes with a remote you can use to adjust the settings, this doesn't seem that useful to me as I prefer just adjust light settings on the light itself. It also has a auto adjust brightness setting on the light, this is a pretty interesting feature but I mainly found myself using the light on max brightness at night.

    When I first got my hands on the RAVEMEN K1800 Smart Bike Light, I was immediately impressed by how solid and compact it felt. The 1800 lumens output was promising, but what really piqued my interest was the range of smart features packed into this unit. As someone who rides frequently in the early mornings and late evenings, having a reliable light that adjusts automatically to different conditions seemed like a game-changer.

    Installation was a breeze. I used the included GoPro mount to secure the light under my Garmin setup, which worked well, even though the orientation ended up with the controls facing downwards. I also tested the handlebar mount, which was equally secure and easy to attach. With the remote in place, conveniently strapped to my handlebars, I felt ready to tackle some night rides.

    The AI night riding mode is a standout feature. The light intelligently adjusts its brightness based on the surrounding ambient light, so whether I was heading down a well-lit street or a pitch-black trail, the light adapted in real-time. The automatic on/off function after 2 minutes of idle time was also a handy feature, especially when making quick stops. I appreciated that I didn’t have to constantly worry about turning the light on and off.

    In terms of light performance, I was blown away. At full brightness, this thing lights up the road ahead like no other. I could easily see 20-30 meters in front of me with a wide, even beam that covered the road from side to side. It gave me a lot of confidence, especially when riding at higher speeds, knowing I could spot any potential hazards well in advance. The daytime flasher mode also came in clutch for those early morning commutes, making me highly visible to oncoming traffic.

    One feature I didn’t expect to rely on so much was the remote. Being able to quickly toggle between brightness modes, especially on trails or paths with pedestrians, was a huge plus. It made it easy to switch to a dimmer setting so I wasn’t blinding others, then back to full brightness when I needed it. The remote paired effortlessly and worked like a charm throughout my rides.

    There were a couple of small drawbacks, though. While the beam spread is great for trails and rural areas, I noticed that it lacked a sharp cutoff, making it less ideal for urban environments where I prefer a more focused beam that doesn’t spill light into oncoming traffic. Also, because this light is so bright, it does tend to heat up, though this was a minor issue since it never became too hot to handle.

    Overall, the RAVEMEN K1800 ticks all the boxes for me. It's durable, smart, and incredibly powerful, with thoughtful touches like the remote and AI modes making my rides much more convenient. If you're an avid cyclist looking for a high-performance bike light that can handle anything from urban commuting to off-road trails, I can’t recommend this enough.     We normally go Viking at around 4 AM so it's pretty dark and this thing is a game changer because it was easy to install. It came with different modes, depending on how you like the brightness but it does have a really bright option which is good for early mornings or at night. It hasn't rained by me in a while so I haven't tested the waterproof functionality but overall, this is a great product.

    I do not deserve this light! I feel guilty getting it free on Vine! I wouldn't pay for it simply because it really is a fantastic light and way more light than I need. It is compact, but by its heft, you can tell it is packed with tech. The sleek design with one button and a sensor is deceptive, as it has multiple functions--as listed in the product description (AI riding "learning" mode? I laugh at how cool that is!). I can't use them all normally, but I tested them all and they work flawlessly. The remote switch is a tech-gear lover's dream--I'll probably lose it. When the light is in its brightest mode, the front really does get hot because it puts out such a bright beam. The quick release strap is easy and sturdy and a must--this light is eminently swipeable; you can take the entire strap off easily or use the quick release that slides the light out of its holder.

    I guess I have to throw in a criticism, if it is one. The light has power demands and needs to be charged more often than lesser lights, for obvious reasons. Okay, take it in and plug it in after you ride--you'll be taking it in all the time anyway. Of course, it can be run on external power in a pinch, so carry your back up battery pack in your kit and you're good to go.

    I can't recommend this light enough. If you are an avid biker and like and can afford the coolest tech, this light is worth considering. I am constantly lamenting common market-hype that so casually overstates and underdelivers. This product is the exact opposite. It is clearly a quality product that anyone would be proud of, and the product description is just honestly accurate.

    Crap, I'm gonna have to buy a new bike now!
