I was looking for a vertical mouse and was intrigued by this one. Thought it would be interesting to try with Left 4 Dead 2, which I play nightly.

PROS:
*Very nice packaging, with a slip cover and a magnet edge box with cut foam inserts
*Easy to setup; just plug n play
*Long rechargeable battery life
*Feels natural to grip, easy on the wrists
*Responsive buttons and glides easily
*I like the metal trigger option
*Rumble adds to the experience
*Makes gaming feel more immersive
*I've gained 8 ranks on my server since I started using it last week

CONS
*I wish it had a little more weight in the base, it's a bit easy to knock over
*The little round button on the side is exclusively an alternative to the primary trigger, and can't be reassigned. It usually gets interpreted as two or three clicks instead of one.
*The wheel could be a little looser, it's not very easy to scroll
*The wheel isn't very easy to click
*DPI isn't adjustable, and the button is a little too easy to press on accident
*Occasionally it just swings the camera to the ground, though this may be because my desk/mousepad aren't patterned enough for the laser to track consistently

OTHER
*Not great for web browsing or other non-FPS activities, of course (weird to use for House Flipper 2)
*I've found it works best with my arm fully extended, rather than bent like with a regular mouse. I've made more room on the far side of my desk to accommodate this
*Your regular mouse doesn't need to be disconnected to use this one
*Interested in trying to use this for an archery game like Horizon Zero Dawn

Edit: I was contacted by a rep from Ragnok who requested additional feedback, and after providing some suggestions for improvement to make this a bit more comfortable and streamlined to use they stated the company would explore implementing some of my suggestions in future versions. This is far more response than I’ve ever received from just about any company I’ve ever done business with in the past and I’m pretty genuinely impressed.
My critique of the current version still stands, but I’ve raised the rating by a star because that kind of outreach is a rare thing and should be considered as part of your purchase

This mouse is pretty specifically a mouse for FPS games, and it’s decent enough for that particular purpose. The pistol style grip w/ trigger style buttons looks cool, but that fades pretty fast as a consideration after you use this for a few hours. The quirks of this design makes adjustments in vertical aim more tiring than they really need to be since that movement needs to be done from the elbow and shoulder rather than the wrist. Horizontal aim is actually better, it makes it easier to consistently track/lead targets.

Main complaint is that the little base plate you see in the photo is just press fit rather than clicking or locking into place. Without that base plate, the mouse is really uncomfortable to use as you end up dragging the heel of your hand against the desk if you have larger hands. I solved that problem by gluing it to the mouse, but I would hope that future versions provide a more robust method to attach the base without having to resort to more permanent modifications.

Finally the meh… software is a little sketch since it’s hosted on someone’s OneDrive, but it works and I haven’t actively been compromised… that I know of.
The vibration function works, but it’s basically just a rumble motor that runs as long as the left mouse button is held down. Not really all that immersive or even interesting as a gimmick.

This is such a great idea but it's like they never even used the product they made, they just started selling it to the masses right away. First of all, I don't have small hands but still - my hand is in the air when I hold this so basically I'm constantly having to hold my hand up. There's nowhere to really rest my hand on this thing. I can't imagine a kid holding this. Maybe they need to make different sizes of this? Either way, I gotta be able to rest my hand on this. I'm not holding my hand up for 3 hours. That's crazy.
Also, pressing the buttons is awkward. This is the response/feel you'd expect from a cheap $5 toy from china, not a $60 premium "gun mouse".
The wheel button is in a super weird position, very uncomfortable to scroll. I promise you, I don't have weird shaped hands. This toy is just not that well made.
I ended up returning it.
