-
Is the pump included?
Yes! We include a pump and nozzle with every Centre.
-
How do I inflate the Centre?
Screw the nozzle into the threaded end opposite the pump handle. Wet the needle with water, and insert into the Centre nozzle. Pump to desired pressure.
-
How much do I inflate the Centre?
There's no wrong answer to this question, but we recommend starting with fairly firm, and backing off from there. Begin by pumping until it feels like it won't get stiffer, then try it out. Remove air until it feels comfortable.

- Reviewed in Canada on September 30, 2024Verified PurchaseThis is a good grip myofascial release ball. It seems to be made of durable material. It might be a bit small for men over 6 ft tall. (The pump is okay… seems to be cheaply made but it did pump up the ball. )
- Reviewed in Canada on May 25, 2019Verified PurchaseI love the RAD Center so much, I'm getting a second one so I don't have to take my original everywhere I go. I am hard on my body; I'm a black belt in Brazilian jiu jitsu, I lift weights and I sit on my ass all day at work.
If you're a desk worker, you probably have the same problem I do: the hunched over sitting position. Does anyone sit up straight? I doubt it. I find is that sitting all day, and then heading off to the gym for some jiu jitsu don't go together. The stomach and chest muscles get very tight and constricted and that is tricky to do self-myofascial relief work on because they're very tender to touch.
The Centre was designed specifically to be gentle on the core, particularly the belly. It is an inflatable ball, made of a very sturdy material that can hold big strong men, yet stay soft and effective for little women as well. It's not meant to be fully inflated, you pump in enough air to give it shape and leave a little out because it's that give that works the magic.
I use the Centre while laying on my stomach, resting it on my abdomen for 3-5 minutes as a breathe deeply and sink into it, then my chest for 3-5, then I flip over and place it under my back, working my way down from my neck to my SI joint, breathing deeply, flexing my spine and regain the flexibility and mobility of my stiff back.
There have been weeks where I felt too sore to train and after 20 minutes on the Centre, I was good to go. I do it in bed so the soft surface enhances the gentle therapy.
An absolute must-have for pretty much anyone. Get that diaphragm working properly!

Bigger than a softball, but softer and easier to use for sore muscles. Doesn't hold air indefinitely, but is very easy to refill. Keep the pump nearby.
Also good for stretching psoas muscles, muscles around SI joints, and stuff shoulders. Favourite new ball for stretches (lacrosse ball is 2nd favourite).

5.0 out of 5 stars Recommended for self myofascial release
Verified PurchaseI bought this item for a myofascial yoga training that I am taking. They recommend a lot of the RAD products for self my official release techniques. This ball seems to be good, it’s nice that it comes with a pump. I also like that it has a guide for how to use this product with different techniques and different areas to roll out/massage. I would recommend this product to anyone looking to do self my official release and self massage.

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant for releasing tight shoulders and an aching bavk
Verified PurchaseI’ve spent the last 18 months working from home, hunched over my laptop and not moving around anywhere near enough. Exercises were helping a bit but this soft ball is perfect for stretching out your spine. After using it for 5 minutes I feel like I’ve had a deep massage. Hoping for some improvements to my posture too. Great buy.

5.0 out of 5 stars Sehr hilfreich
