  • USING TAMARIND PASTE – In recipes, usually tamarind water is called for as it is easily blended into a dish. To prepare tamarind water, pinch off a piece from the block, pour over water to cover in a bowl, and squeeze the pulp repeatedly. Strain the resultant liquid, discarding any fibers.
  • OTHER USAGE IDEAS – Tamarind can be used in desserts as a jam, blended into juices or sweetened drinks, sorbets, ice creams, candies and snacks. Tamarind is also an ingredient in popular condiments including Worcestershire and Steak Sauce.

I had to throw it away because it was clearly opened someone took a bite and re wrapped it again . Very disappointing and on top that the health and sanitary risks encountered by ordering this product who knows what coule have happened. I wasted my money.
