    Very good quality product. My doctor told me to start taking these to help my thyroid. There is a big difference between the Pure ones and the store brands.     I like how small the capsules are so it's easy to swallow with its gel coated so it's it just glides down, I bet if you didn't have water you could probably so make a lot of saliva and down it that way! Great stuff anyways.

    The recommended daily allowance of selenium is 55 mcg. The amount in these capsules (200mcg) is waaaaay too much. I shook out 4/5 of the capsule so there was a little left in the bottom, about 50mcg. I took one night 1, and a second night 2. I won't go into details, but just those two (100mcg split over two nights) made me so sick that months later I'm still dealing with the systemic health consequences (nothing related to the warning they give about non-melanoma skin cancer). I also won't go into the details of how I know it was this product, but I know it was this product.

    If you have pre-existing systemic health conditions, allergies, sensitivities, and/or intolerances, be very cautious when considering something like this. Even though it says "Pure", and "hypoallergenic", that doesn't mean for everyone.

    Before purchasing, I reached out to the manufacturer for more information. The customer service rep I emailed didn't know the answer to my question, but she gave me the number for their dietitian. I spoke to the dietitian, who was very nice and helpful. Based on her information, I bought the product. To be fair, I was impressed with their customer service. The customer service rep didn't know the answer, but she passed me onto someone who would. I can't fault the customer service.
