DETAILED OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. HOOK UP & DOWN VERTICALLY
In the operation process, all need to be carried out slowly. Only by correcting the stuck points can the rope be stuck in the pulley to achieve a stable positioning.
2. PULL DOWN THE HOOK
Pull down the hook and don't let go. Hang up what you want to hang. Take the hanging basket as an example.
3. TO HIGHER
If you want to hang the basket higher up, you can hold the bottom of the pot, lift up approx.1inch, after hearing a crisp click (the pulley has been unlocked), slowly raise the basket to the required height. Lower it slightly to get stuck in position.
4. TO LOWER
If you want to take down the plant basket, you can hold the bottom of the pot, lift up approx.1inch, after hearing a crisp click (the pulley has been unlocked), grab the potted plant and pull down slowly. Lower it slightly to get stuck in position.

J’adore ces poulies j’en ai d’ailleurs racheté d’autres. Je n’ai plus à monter sur un escabeau pour descendre mes plantes à arroser dans la maison ni pour remplir mes mangeoires d’oiseaux à l’extérieur. Il est possible de positionner à plusieurs longueurs différentes. Le temps me dira si elles sont résistantes mais pour le moment elles sont parfaites. Mes mangeoires sont très lourdes et la poulie résiste bien. Notez que pour rester à la position basse, il doit y avoir suffisamment de poids. On ne peut pas enlever la mangeoire sans que le fil ne remonte. Prévoir accrocher quelques chose de suffisamment lourd pour les garder baissées le temps de nettoyer et remplir votre mangeoire. Les dômes anti-écureuils par exemple, sont parfaits pour ça. Mise à jour: je les aime toujours après plus d’un an d’utilisation. Certaines ont brisé (2/10) soit grugée par un écureuil ou d’usure à force de monter et descendre. J’en ai donné quelques unes aussi. Je vais en racheter un 3e ensemble pour en avoir de rechange au cas où. Je les aime toujours autant. Fonctionne à merveille quand on sait comment elles fonctionnent. 😉

Achat presque génial !
J'en ai acheté 10 puisque j'ai trouvé les commentaires super et que je n'aurai plus a utiliser un escabeau.
Ils sont tous installés au plafond et ils ont tous une jardinière dessus.
Le mécanisme est aussi mystérieux que le triangle des Bermudes !!!!
Lorsque nous avons le dispositif dans les mains, nous finissons avec beaucoup mais vraiment beaucoup de persévérance a faire descendre la poulie et la barrer plus ou moins a l'endroit que nous voulons.
Mais une fois les jardinières installés dessus j'ai réussis quelques fois a faire descendre mes plantes vers le bas et lorsque je les remonte le mécanisme ne bloquait plus a la même hauteur !

Et pour ce qui est de la rotation 360 degrés encore une fois cela fonctionne lorsque nous tenons le dispositif dans nos mains. Une fois la jardiniere installé ca ne fonctionne pas et ce même en montant dans un escabeau. La jardinière tourbillonne et reviens a sa position initiale.
Vraiment trop cher payé pour un mécanisme qui fonctionne de façon aléatoire et qui ne permet pas de faire des rotations sans devoir physiquement tourner la plante dans la jardinière.

Almost a brilliant purchase !
I bought 10 of these since I thought the reviews were great and I won't have to use a stepladder anymore.
They are all installed on the ceiling and they all have a planter on them.
The mechanism is as mysterious as the Bermuda Triangle !!!!
When we have the device in our hands, we end up with a lot effort and a lot of perseverance, in lowering the pulley and locking it more or less at the place we want.
But once the planters were installed on it, I managed to lower my plants a few times and when I raised them the mechanism no longer blocked at the same height!

And as for the 360 degree rotation again it works when we hold the device in our hands. Once the planter is installed, it does not work, even when climbing a stepladder. The planter swirls and returns to its initial position.
Really too much to pay for a mechanism that works randomly and does not allow rotations without having to physically turn the plant in the planter.

I am really happy with this retractable pulley. It is a little bigger than I was expecting, but it works great. It's super helpful for using with my indoor hanging planters so I can water them without having to grab a step stool every time to remove them from the ceiling hook.
I also really like that the pulley can swivel 360 degrees, so i can easily rotate my plants to get even light exposure to all sides.
One thing to keep in mind when buying this is that the maximum height you can hang your plant from the ceiling will be reduced by about 9" or so, even when the pulley is fully retracted.
Not a bad thing - but I do wish it also was available in white so it'd coordinate a bit better with my decor.
Overall very satisfied!

I was trying to figure out a good way to get the water up there.
Duh! Bring the plants down silly!
How long the hangers will last remains to be seen, plastic and all, but once you figure out how they work, these are great.
1. Hang from the triangle end.
2. To lower the pot, lift slightly and pull down, not fast but not slow either, slow locks the mechanism.
3. To raise, simply lift to desired height and they lock when you let go.
