    Interesting and well made blowtorch for burning yard grass, thatch, starting bonfires, etc. cool pistol grip too, my only quibble is that when using small propane canisters, the fast flow can ice up the canister after a few minutes. So it won’t work indefinitely unless you attach to a large 10-30lb tank (use an adaptor) and lug that around. This works fine for short burning sessions though and very handy as a fire starter.

    The nice thing about this, is you don't have to totally burn the weed. Just passing the hot burning flame over the weed will kill it. I've hit weeds that are 3 feet tall, and passing the flame over the lower part kills it. The next day it will be wilted and sagging. I'm also a little surprised at how long a propane canister lasts. I refill mine, just put them in the freezer overnight before you refill them and you'll get a full lb or more. The refill adapters are around $20

    This was way better made than I expected. It's really a quality piece. It was effective. I used it to melt a heavy layer of ice off of our stairs. When I saw how well it worked, I started using it on ice and the sidewalk. I quickly figured out it made sense to buy an adapter to allow me to use 20 lb tanks. The small cylinders are now about $10 each for 1 lb, where you can get a 20 lb tank filled for $33.

    It worked very well melting ice. I'll see how it works on weeds in the summer.

    Okay, so I've got this crazy patch of weeds in my driveway landscaping that just won't quit. I've tried everything – pulling, spraying, even begging them to leave – nothing worked. Then I got my hands on this propane torch weed burner, and let me tell you, it's a whole new level of weed warfare.

    This thing is a beast! It throws a massive flame that incinerates those pesky weeds in seconds. I was a little nervous at first, but it's surprisingly easy to use. Just hook it up to a propane tank (I used a camping lantern style tank), light it up, and blast away. The long handle is a lifesaver – no more bending over and aching backs.

    I've used it to clear out the weeds along my landscaping, around the patio, and even in the cracks of my driveway. It works like a charm! The weeds literally shrivel up and die before your eyes. It's strangely satisfying.

    Now, it's not exactly a precision tool. You do have to be careful not to torch your prized roses along with the weeds. But with a little practice, you can control the flame pretty well.

    Overall, I'm super impressed with this propane torch. It's a powerful and effective way to get rid of those stubborn weeds that just won't die. Plus, it's kinda fun to use. Just be sure to follow the safety instructions and keep a fire extinguisher handy, just in case you get a little carried away.

    Just know that the instructions say to only use it 2 minutes at each use to prevent damage to the torch.
    My guess is that the metal would heat up enough to malt the plastic parts; but that's just a guess.
    So, I can't see using it to clear lots of weeds using a larger tank and an adapter.

    I did use it to burn some in our gravel, and along the curb. You need to hold it in place to burn one weed at a time. It's not a ray gun that disintegrates them with one sweep. But, it will do that one weed at a time very well. See the before and after picture of the Dandelion at the curb.

    The makers had a sense of fun in designing the grip. Instead of some high tech design; they chose a 17th century flintlock pistol with an ornate design on the grip. It made my wife laugh. It made me smile.

    It's fun to use in short bursts. But, I did need to keep adjusting the gas flow the entire 2 minutes to get the best result. A nice tool for the occasional job.

    I wasn't sure about this initially but am tired of weeding our patio and driveway areas by hand or with a weed trimmer, so ordered it. It is designed like a Derringer pistol with fancy styling but it works really well. We bought a small canister of propane, attached it to the connector, and killed a bunch of weeds easily and quickly. They will come back, or their descendants at least, but it will take longer than if I pulled them or cut them up because the heat should have damaged the roots. It will work with a large propane tank if you get an adapter - nice to know. There are instructions with graphics on how to use and it does have its own starter so you don't need to carry a lighter. It's a really handy tool that's time-saving for weeds around concrete or brick areas that don't combust. It's also kind of satisfying. Beware of this being left around children because it does look like a gun and well, for obvious reasons, it's not meant for children, even if it's not hooked up to anything.

    I use this propane torch burner to get rid of weeds in my driveway and the pavement in my backyard. It does a good job of clearing the weeds and it’s a satisfying sight to see.

    This torch burner is easy to operate. After opening the gas valve, the one-click ignition makes it simple to start the fire. The knob on the handle can be used to adjust the flame size. The handle is easy to grip and the whole thing feels light on the hands. What I like the most is that its flame is solid and blue, blue flame is hotter and it burns more efficient than red flame. I highly recommend this weed torch burner as it always get the job done nice and quick.
