Promise Vitamin D3+K2 MK7 with Organic Coconut Oil 120 Soft gels - Supports Heart and Bone Health, Uplifts Mood with Immune Support- non-GMO- Made In Canada 4.5* $29.99 at the time of writing. Purchased to help bone density & achieve required daily dose of D3 120 capsules per jar. Dosage 1 capsule daily. 4 months supply at $0.25 per day. Ingredients : 1000ui Vitamin D3, 120 mcg Vitamin K2 These supplements come in a sealed jar but without a childproof lid. Upon opening the jar there is an absence of smell (not even coconut) ! The capsules are clear, relatively small and easy to swallow. There is no aftertaste. The agreed effective daily D3 dosage varies dependent upon source, with levels as low as 400ui up to levels as high as 10,000ui being mooted as minimums and/or safe maximums. Whilst the daily dosage in Canada tends to be larger given the lack of year round daylight, general concensus suggests that 6-1000 ui per day is sufficient in order to maintain good health in adults. These capsules deliver 1000ui. Consensus is also that a level of up to 120mcg of Vitamin K2 daily is important for maintaining healthy bones. Each one of these capsules deliver 120mcg. I have been taking Vitamin D supplements and was 7 happy to change to these Promise supplements to continue to maintain my daily health regimen. If required I will add a plain vitamin D3 tablet (Webber from Costco) in order to supplement my supplements! The Promise brand Vitamin D3 / K2 capsules are reasonably priced, easy to take and work. Recommended.
