    I love this sketchbook. I bought this one and the Toned Gray sketchbook and I use them both all the time but I must say I definitely favour this one just a little bit. :) It takes really well to pencils which is what I primarily use for my pieces but I've also tried it with Oil Pastels, Acrilyc Markers, and alcohol markers and the colour comes out beautifully with any of them. I highly recommend this for artists of any skill level.

    This paper is slightly textured, it's a good weight for sketches and markers. Be aware though that you should layer coloured pencil under your markers or it will bleed or fan slightly. The paper will drink up marker if put on directly.

    The tone is lovely, the colours pop. If using coloured pencils I recommend using blending sticks (I forgot the proper name) to cover any pin points of paper that show underneath due to the texture.
