Reviewed in Canada on October 15, 2020Verified PurchaseExcellent papier pour aquarelle.
- Reviewed in Canada on June 28, 2024Verified PurchaseI guess I didn't read the description properly and I was expecting a smaller booklet, maybe standard paper size. But this thing is HUGE! I'll be cutting these sheets into smaller sizes to make cards out of. But I think the value is really great for such large sheets of watercolour paper. I haven't tested the paper yet using my paints but it looks to be good quality. I will try to update this review once I test it out.

- Reviewed in Canada on October 18, 2019Verified PurchaseI ordered this for pressing flowers...it's fall and I can't use them till next spring but they came undamaged, quickly. The quality is what I expected from this brand. I've been using their products for years with no disappointment at all.

5.0 out of 5 stars Don’t believe the video. It’s not that easy
Verified PurchaseThe media could not be loaded.
Not even close. I had to fold the page back , stand it up and use my razor knife to slice the glue to get it out. Other than that.. it’s like any other paper pad.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good paper
Verified PurchaseI made a portrait for the first time using this paper. See photo. I followed a tutor using cotton paper. She said to expect different results with different paper. All the watercolor artists urge you to buy expensive paper as a beginner. Well I think as a beginner you don't need to do that. Wait until you have some solid technique. I did not feel that this paper held me back at all. I just followed the instructor for this portrait. She didn't wet the paper ever. But sometimes we added paint before the previous layer dried. The paper did not dry too fast. I had no trouble with unwanted color lines that I couldn't blend out. I had no trouble with smudging previous layers. Frankly I had no issues with this paper. All the problems you see in the photo are just bad technique. Don't buy expensive paper as a beginner. Also I liked this paper better than Canson.

4.0 out of 5 stars Decent Watercolor Paper
Verified PurchaseMid-quality watercolor paper. Smooth texture. Paint goes on well. However, I do a lot of wet on wet and it does not absorb or hold water evenly. It dries out very quickly in patchy areas, but not in others. I tape it down to prevent buckling, but tape often sticks to it and rips off the top layer of paper. Probably great if you don't use a lot of water, but just OK or pretty good if you do.
