    Contents are excellent - a great selection of Prismacolors plus a few Verithins. These were the first Prismacolors I've purchased/used, so it was nice to get the Verithins as well to try out. The colours are bright, laydown is soft and creamy, they layer well... everything you'd expect from this trusted brand.

    However, the box was a total enigma to me. Apparently, the top part comes off and you can make a little stand with it, but I couldn't for the life of me figure out how to make that happen. I ended up cutting the box open instead. I'm not usually that dense, but the instructions made no sense to me.

    Nice beginner set of premiers, though I can clearly see that most of the cores are not centred. I know this can be a problem when they need to be sharpened. The verithins that come in the set are not sharpened, and I'm having trouble not breaking the leads as I sharpen these, even when I use the Prismacolor sharpener. The colour of the premiers lay down very nicely and blend well, and I prefer the look they give compared to my spectrum noirs. I will probably switch to these in the future if they are on for a good price.

    I was surprised that Prismacolor did not box these in a tin. The cardboard box was flimsy this not very protective for these expensive soft core pencils. Wish they came in more colours, for manga. I did like the colours they did come in which are different from their 150
    regular coloured set! I won’t take a star off for packaging even though I would have preferred tin. Velvety feel when you are working with the pencil crayon and they blend excellently. So 5/5 stars!.... If there was an option for 4.5 out of five, I would have done that just because of the cardboard packaging.
