Thus is a great piece. It’s a bit scary setting a hot tea on top the first time but it proved to be super sturdy and the velvety fabric on the back means it sits steady without slipping as there is just enough friction because of it to prevent the bamboo from sliding on the sofa arm rest.
The hinged stabilizers are great (be careful - they really snap). The only improvement I’d suggest is a way to lock them at just over 90* so the stand could act as a small table beside you on the floor or bed.
The price I paid made this a real steal! I love it’s versatility. Even use it on a fabric bench as a tray because when folded up it still sits level.
