This "Prime Vinyl" brand watercolour paper is nicely made, heavy, and good value. I am not a watercolour expert, and mostly limit my use of them to mixed media and small projects for cards or art journals. However, I have tried a lot of papers, and this one is a good one for a lower cost alternative. It is whiter than many of the others I have, which is nice for getting true colours. Colour moves well on the paper, and blending is easy. It accepts a lot of water with minimal warping. The texturing is subtle but attractive. There is even a bonus in that the cover of each book is made from the paper and can be painted on the back. Recommended as good option for a budget friendly, but large package of watercolour paper.

I got this for my wife who paints every day. The 2 pack for this price is a great value, the ones I usually get her at the art store are more then this price for one! The weight of the paper is ideal for watercolour and is on par with her more expensive pads. It has a smooth texture, and the acid-free paper is a requirement for any serious artist, ensuring her art stays vibrant for longer. She used both water colour pencils and paint, and was quite pleased with the results. She painted directly from the book and it did have some warping but she said that its pretty typical for water colour paper and that it wasn’t that bad. Overall she was really happy with the quality, and for the price I would absolutely order it again for her!

This is not cotton but wood pulp, but quite thick and with a rough even texture (more like cold press). The pad has glue binding on only one side, and the cover is not bound to the pad itself, so you can tuck it underneath when working on them.

What a great deal for 2 pads if 140 weight paper with 60 sheets each. This is prime heavy weight paper for multiple artistic mediums. It’s heavy so you can paint in it or draw with it no matter it’s good for whatever. I was happy to find the paper was easy tear down I can fold and take it out of the book by tearing on the perforations. I wish all books had this.
I’m very happy 2 books 60 pages I’ll have paper for a long while.

This watercolor pad offers excellent performance for both beginners and experienced artists. The paper is thick, handles moisture well, and allows for smooth color blending with minimal warping. While it's wood pulp rather than cotton, it still absorbs water effectively and provides a nice texture for painting. The bright white surface enhances color vibrancy, making it a great option for detailed or bold artwork. With acid-free pages and a versatile size, it's a fantastic budget-friendly choice for watercolor projects, mixed media, or even acrylics.

I wanted to purchase some paper to support my daughter’s art skills and provide her with the right paper to work and improve with her art. This paper is perfect for practicing and experimenting with various art techniques, and it’s great to have two sheets so that she has enough to make some mistakes. My daughter enjoys this, and I’m happy with the quality of the paper. It’s also very affordable, versatile, and of a premium quality. This is my new go-to paper for watercolor and I highly recommend it.
