Big fan of brass hose fittings—durable, long lasting, and much better than plastic or zinc-coated alternatives. So this foam sprayer immediately caught my attention, especially since it’s more compact than my other one, making it a good option for smaller jobs like applying insecticide soap. The price seemed reasonable too, and it also comes with a brass quick connect adapter and chamoi.

That said, I’m a bit disappointed with the overall build quality. The handle feels light, and the trigger joint and plastic plunger feel cheap. The handle itself is also too small and narrow, making it uncomfortable to hold, especially when squeezing the trigger – definitely not something I would want to use for an extended period, even with the trigger lock engaged. There’s also a plastic center piece that bridges the metal components, and it feels like a weak spot that detracts from the appeal as compared to it’s plastic counterparts.

On the plus side, the nozzle is adjustable, and the soap control dial on top operates smoothly with audible and tactile clicks as you adjust it.

Full disclosure, I haven't tested it yet because it’s winter, but just from the design, I can already tell this is a soap sprayer, not a true foam gun. A proper foam gun requires more pressure, either from a pressure washer or a separate pump. This will produce soap suds, but if you're expecting thick foam like a real foam cannon, you’ll be disappointed. The listing is arguably a bit misleading in this regard - soap sprayer is more accurate IMO. If I notice any additional issues after testing it in the spring I'll update my review.

Final thought—kind of a mixed bag. At $33.99, it’s a decent soap sprayer, and the brass components make it look more premium than the fully plastic alternatives. However, the actual build quality, especially the handle, doesn’t feel great, and half of it is plastic anyway. Functionally, it’ll get the job done, but if you’re on a budget, you can get a comfortable plastic soap sprayer with more spray settings for half the price, making this a tough recommendation unless you specifically want the brass aesthetic, and only partly.

Loving the microfiber shammy you get with it, but the build quality was far lower than I was expecting. The plastic reservoir is easily the cheapest bit, with a seam running right through the middle and a little plastic nub on the bottom so it's unstable when placed against a flat surface. The plastic itself was dirty right out of the box, so it took some cleaning before I could put anything in it. Fortunately, the silicone gasket on the top is pretty tight so that's a plus.

As for the handle, I was quite surprised at how lightweight it was, easily half the weight of my metallic garden hose nozzles (perhaps even less), so it doesn't strain the arm as much. Once again though, the build quality is on the lower end with chips in the bottom female thread and an incredibly cheap trigger hook. Moreover, the trigger relies on a white plastic spring-pin that they conveniently painted brass in the pics to make it look like metal. So I'm honestly not that hopeful when it comes to long-term durability.

All that said, the nozzle is really the most important bit and it works great. Not sure I like the cheap black plastic valve-selector head above the reservoir, but the movement is nice and tight, with audible clicks at each level. All it really does though is open up 6 little holes in the bottom to allow water to run through the soap agent and mix with the outgoing water. It's a simple system so there isn't much to break which is great.

As for performance, I'd say it quite acceptable. The trigger doesn't quite allow the full pressure to exit the hose, but I suppose that's by design, because it increases slightly at the nozzle. Soap distribution is excellent at close range when you tighten it down, but it's pretty easy to eat through soap quickly if you're not careful. I can get around the entire sedan once, but it's only just enough before I need a refill. Fortunately, you can literally go back and forth switching between soap and water if you feel like doing a bit of sponging in between. In fact, I used to carry around a bucket of soapy water that I'd dip into in order to wash each side before rinsing, but this thing eliminates that step. Now I just basically rinse, add a soap layer, sponge, rinse again and move onto the next side. No more bucket full of increasingly dirty water. Definitely a step up.

My only qualms are really with the build quality, reservoir capacity and long-term durability. If it holds up for more than 3 years, I'll be surprised; but in the meantime, I'm thankful that it works like it's supposed to. Just make sure to use the right gasket on the bottom thread. 3.5/5 stars overall.
