My mom uses this to check her heart rate daily.
She has had a stroke aswell as open heart surgery to install 2 mechanical valves. It was very important to us that it’s actually accurate so my mom compared it with what you see on the big machines at the drug store where you sit down and it looked the same so now this is her daily driver. We purchased it for somewhere around $25-$35 right now it is still running on the original batteries aswell as keep in mind that she has to check her blood pressure 2 or maybe 3 times a day. What made this a keeper for me is the fact that it was extremely easy to use aswell as read as my mom is not at all good with technical stuff like she can barely use the remote control let alone the tv. So I fully recommend this for the elderly or people with disabilities. Lastly I did read some reviews about people saying that they’re inaccurate. If you’re worried about that just do what I did which is purchase it and go test it out at the pharmacy while doing a comparison of their commercial grade machine (you know the one you sit down on and put your arm into and it gets tight from the ballooned cuff blowing up) If you feel it’s inaccurate then exchange or move on, Expery time it needs new batteries we will keep do our best to compare it with the pharmacy and make sure it’s still calibrated correctly, As soon as it’s not 100% it will get 1 star due to it being a medical item. But if you see 5 stars up then we are still very happy with the product, 3 months into ownership and 5 stars!

    I bought this because I thought I lost my more expensive OMRON that costs three times as much. After getting this one I found my OMRON. So I did a comparison of readings. This device consistently had readings a little less than the OMRON. If the OMRON was at 133/67, this device was 120/60, for example. Hard to say which one is the most accurate. The important thing, however, is that this device and the OMRON give consistent readings. For the huge price difference, this device is worth it. You will need to compare the device with your doctor's office to the accuracy. The heart rate on this device is the same as on the over-priced OMRON. You should note that the AAA batteries are an unusual battery. Regular AAA will not fit this device. The batteries, however, are available on 鶹 at a cheap price.

    I bought this blood pressure monitor for travel. I tested it out against my usual blood pressure monitor. That is the one I leave at home. This one, measured on the wrist, seems to be about 10 points higher.

    As long as you know, you're baseline, and figure out what adjustment factor you need, this one will work nicely.
