It’s there before the family even moves in. It witnesses the family’s most intimate uncomfortable moments. It navigates the family’s new house at supernatural speed. It wants — no, it needs — something.

Absolutely fantastic! This is a tight, family drama/mystery. It's NOT your jump-scare ghost story, if that's what you're looking for. All the actors do a fantastic job, and the cinematography is impressive and purposeful. I highly recommend.
I"m a true horror fan and have always thought that most of the horror movies made are not at all scary. They have all the usual jump moments, blood & gore and CGI monsters are not the least bit scary for me. As long as the 'monster' is unseen, but keeps you anticipating, THAT is what is true horror is -- when you keep thinking about a movie, trying to analyze it because of certain scenes.. didn't we all re-watch 'The Sixth Sense" again, just to see 'those moments' where it (the twist) was now obvious, once you knew. This movie has twists that were brilliant and keep you on the edge of your seat right to the end. Interpret away.. so good.
This is a haunting, beautifully restrained film that blends psychological horror with emotional depth. Its quiet tension and minimalist style create an eerie, unforgettable atmosphere. The lead performance is raw and grounded, bringing real weight to the story of grief and isolation. A subtle, lingering ghost story that stays with you long after it ends.
Do not waste your money on this movie, not worth it. 5 min in and I turned it off as it made no sense and they kept cutting the scene and jumping to another one which was annoying.
5.0 out of 5 starsChilling, but not as a horror movie

This is a really interesting take on the horror genre. In fact I wouldn't even call it horror, and that's why I think so many people got upset by it.
This is a family drama shot in the perspective of us (the audience) being like a ghostly apparition in the house. The focus is the family and their relationships.
There's a bit more to it but I don't want to give too much away. If you're looking for scares, this movie isn't it. If you're looking for a drama with a unique perspective and a couple of interesting twists, give Presence a shot.
