Progressive Adjust-A-Slice Mandoline provides you the benefits of a mandoline without any of the bother. A non-skid rigid surface allows the user to place this over a bowl or on a counter to provide stability. Use your thumb to quickly and easily adjust the stainless steel blade to three thicknesses: Thin, Medium and Thick. Its wider surface accomodates larger produce and its angled steel blade provides more efficient slicing. The safety features include a locked position for storage and a protective finger guard. We don't use the guard as there is a of waste at the end and we have to use our fingers anyways to slide the last of the veg across the blade. The sliding platform is a little flimsy which makes consistency in slice thickness difficult, but it still meets our needs.
