    As with every new item purchased, I always think, “how long will this last”.
    Not like in the past when you usually knew a quality item was going to actually work and last.
    So far this starter has worked great. It was a good price, feels solid and sturdy. Starts the first time with power. Fit on a 07-08 Silverado 5.3 Vortec. It was very easy to install with the truck on the ground. Just use patients and take your time. Install for me was around 30-45 minutes, although it can be done quicker. Not hard. It does whine a little on start up but quickly disappears. (Just hope it last.).
