I'm building some cabinetry and I needed something to replace my tools that were broken this was the cheapest and most affordable wine and works great I would highly recommend it if you're doing DIY projects at home

The casing is pretty durable and allows you to keep all the pieces together.

For the price point most comparable pieces will be at least at the 50 to $60 range.

The set comes with 5 bit sizes, 1 x hex shank adapter, 2 x plastic depth stops, a hex key for install, an installation/use guide and a hard plastic storage case.

The additional sized countersink bits aren’t permanently attached to the drill bits, so the bits do bounce around a bit in the case, but they do allow the drill bits to be replaced as needed.

The depth stops are plastic, and the metal adapter snaps into place. This may reduce the durability of the stops. I would have liked a screw on stop to reduce the wear due to the possibility of snapping off by accident.

The adapter has depth measurements on the side, so tighten the set depth and you’ll be able to repeat the depth for every hole.

Overall, these bits are fairly easy to use. It does require looking over the instructions, but after that, it’ll become 2nd nature. My main concern is the plastic depth stopper. I know there’s a spare but would have liked something metal for durability with replaceable plastic feet to prevent marring the surface.

At the time of this review, the bits were priced at $32.99 with an available 15% off coupon.

This nifty little kit works exactly as advertised. It's simple to dial in the desired depth using the set screw, provided allen key & collar. Wie der Titel meiner Rezension bereits darlegt, identifizierte ich das Set beim Test als "Budget-Set". Das heißt, dass der Preis und die Verarbeitungsqualität im Rahmen des Gelegenheitsanwenders gestaltet wurden.

Besonders gut finde ich, dass für diesen Preispunkt überhaupt ein mehrteiliges Set geboten wird, zudem sind gerade die "Stop-Kronen" hilfreich, um auch mit einer handgeführten Bohrmaschine das Ziel nicht zu überreissen. Die Montage ist - wie sie auch beim Anbieter bereits bebildert ist - nicht sonderlich komplex, die Einstellung ebenso.

Die verschiedenen Bohrstärken sind schnell der Schraube angepasst, welche eingesenkt werden soll und die Löcher werden durch eine ordentlich gerade Führung ohne Ausscherer so breit gebohrt, wie beabsichtigt. Das Ganze lagert transportsicher im Case und kann so gut und auch platzsparend bei Nichtbenutzung wieder verstaut werden.

Ich bewerte den Artikel im Zusammenhang mit seinem Preis und der angenommenen Zielgruppe, wer die Bohrer täglich stark beansprucht, muss für den Preis eventuell Abstriche bei der Langlebigkeit der Bohrer selbst machen. Hier gibt es im Profisegment robustere, jedoch kostet dort ein solcher Bohrer oftmals mehr, als dieses Set. - Für mich passt diese Lösung am besten, da ich zu den Menschen gehöre, welche selten mal kleine Holzkonstruktionen im Hobbybereich bauen und da zeitweise gerne Schrauben eingesenkt vorbohren möchte. Hier haben die Bohrer auch bei härteren Hözern und verschiedenen Plattenmaterialien (z.B. Birke Multiplex) zum erwünschten Ergebnis geführt.

Das Set wird in einer Kunststoffbox geliefert.

Auf den ersten Blick sieht das Set eigentlich noch ganz brauchbar aus aber spätestens bei der ersten Benutzung wird man eines Bessern belehrt.

Das Set besteht aus dem Bohrerhalter zusammen mit fünf Bohrer / Senker Kombinationen. Das Set hat leider Imperiale Maße und besteht aus Bohrern für die Durchmesser 1/8" (2,8 mm)；9/64" (3,5 mm)；5/32" (4 mm)；11/64" (4,4 mm)；3/16" (4,8 mm). Fairer weise muss man sagen da es in der Artikelbeschreibung aufgeführt ist und somit eigentlich auf meine Kappe geht, warum man aber in Europa wo fast ausschließlich metrisch gemessen wird ein imperiales Set verkauft ist mir unbekannt.

Leider sind die Kombinationen von Bohrer und Senker noch sehr schlecht aufeinander angepasst sodass zwischen den Seitenschneiden des Bohrers und dem Senker fast ein Milimeter Platz ist. Der Senker hat meiner Meinung nach auch einen zu kleinen Durchmesser da man z.B. eine 4mm Holzschraube nach DIN nicht breit genug senken kann damit der Schraubenkopf hinein passt. Dazu fehlen knapp 2mm.

Das fertig gesenkte Bohrloch dann leider auch nicht sonderlich schön anzusehen , das liegt wohl auch daran das der Senker egal ob in Metall oder Holz nur sehr schlecht senkt und nur mit viel Druck vorwärts geht. Erschreckender weiße muss das den Hersteller sehr wohl bewusst sein da in der Bedienungsanleitung ein schönes (....NICHT) gesenktes Bohrloch abgebildet ist welches total ausgefranst und ungenau ist.(Siehe Bilder unten).

Ich habe überlegt und wollte eingangs eigentlich zwei Sterne geben und sagen das man ihn für den Heimgebrauch bedingt benutzen kann. Allerdgins jetzt wo ich durch bin und noch mal auf mein Inneres gehört habe möchte ich eigentlich keinen Stern mehr vergeben. Mit dem Set kann man nur unpassende Löcher mit nicht außreichendem Durchmesser der Senkung und einem total ausgefransten Schnittbild erzeugen. Für mich kommt das als Heimwerker nicth in Frage. Da spanne ich lieber jedes mal auf einen Senker um oder Senke von Hand und habe dafür ein sauber gesenktes Loch.

Ich möchte am liebsten keinen Stern vergeben.

Es wird in einer stabilen und gut organisierten Aufbewahrungsbox geliefert, in der alle Einsätze und Zubehörteile übersichtlich einsortiert sind. Die Box selbst ist beschriftet, was die Entnahme und Rücksortierung erleichtert – ein klarer Pluspunkt für alle, die Ordnung am Arbeitsplatz schätzen.

Zum Lieferumfang gehören neben den Senkbohrern auch ein Tiefenanschlag, ein Satz Kreuzschlitz-Bits, ein Inbusschlüssel sowie eine Ersatzkuppel für den Halter. Die Einsätze werden mit kleinen Madenschrauben fixiert und lassen sich in der Tiefe einstellen – eine praktische Lösung, insbesondere für wiederholgenaue Bohrungen. Für geübte Heimwerker oder Profis ist die Handhabung weitgehend selbsterklärend, auch wenn eine kurze Bedienungsanleitung beiliegt.

The Preciva countersink drill set came in very handy for making the lap joints of a pine trunk. It takes some time to swap in the appropriate drill bit when using different-sized screws, but the good results are worth the wait. I could have done without the included Phillips screwdriver bit, but very much appreciate the nice storage case. All in all, this is a very useful countersink set for hobbyist woodworkers.
