Precious Poppies Kit | California, Flanders, Giganthemum, Shirley
In the garden, poppies are an attractive, easy to grow flower. They prefer full sun to partial shade and they will grow well in many types of soils. The kit includes 100-150 seeds of each poppy, for total of 400-600 seeds.
California Poppy
Attractive flowers bloom in white, orange, red and gold. California poppies are very tough flowers & drought resistant; ideal for xeriscaping. A tender perennial that may behave as an annual in colder regions. California Poppy is also deer resistant.
Flanders Poppy
Sow heirloom Flanders poppy seeds for bright red summer colour in nearly any soil. Flanders poppies are quite drought tolerant, so they are useful in xeriscaping schemes. Also a deer resistant variety that looks spectacular when planted in large areas.
Giganthemum Poppy
The very largest poppy flower, followed by the very largest seed heads. The seed head of Giganthemum poppy is the size of a baseball! The massive flower stems grow 90-120 cm (36-48″) tall, topped by flowers around 10cm (4″) across

Pretty packaging - hopefully they’ll bloom!
Seeds arrived in lovely packaging. Very small brown bag (size of a small birthday card) and the seed packets are way smaller than that. The California poppy packet arrived opened, which was disappointing. 106 seeds inside. My purchase was $15.97 for 600 seeds (4 packets so one would assume 150 of each seed varietal). As you can see by the photos and the packet that I counted, this is unlikely to be true. Very disappointing. I sure hope they bloom! Not likely to purchase from this company again.
