With the PM-2500 adjustable mobile base, it's never been easier to move equipment around a crowded shop.

Mobile

This fully adjustable mobile base features side rails and corner pieces with holes spaced every inch to insure the perfect fit for your machine. Move bandsaws, table saws, sanders, drill presses, jointers, planers, and much more.

Adjustable

The PM-2500 has a maximum weight capacity of 650 pounds. This heavy duty adjustable base is sturdy and easy to assemble, plus it adjusts to fit virtually any large woodworking machine, forming squares from 12 by 12 inches to 36 by 36 inches.

Foot-operated Levers

The large, industrial-grade metal foot-operated levers lock machines to the floor a mere 3/4 inches above the ground, making moving heavier machines a breeze. The base also features a durable powder-coated finish.

Low profile

Only increases machine height one inch.

Optional Extension Rail Kit

The HTC K1218 Extension Rail Kit includes two 18-inch and two 12-inch extension rails that can be used to extend the size of your HTC 2000, PM-2500 or PM1000 base to accept larger tools (sold separately).

Product description

This is our heavy-duty universal mobile base, and it’s exactly what you need if you have large machine tools that need to “go mobile”. Like our other mobile bases, this one increases and decreases size in one-inch increments. In the case of the PM-2500, you can make the base a 12x12 inch square all the way to 36x36 (inches), and can also make as rectangle mobile base up to 20x52 (inches). And with a heavy duty weight capacity of 650 lbs. and ball-bearing casters/wheels, it’ll handle virtually any tool, machine, or other item (safes, toolboxes, etc.) In addition, you can add to this with optional larger rails (part # K1218.) Perfect for a small shop where space is a premium, you can now effortlessly move around your Table and Band Saws, Planers, Jointers, and much more – this really increases your workspace, and allows you bring out the tool you need, and push it out of your way when done. All parts are included, and this heavy duty mobile base comes with a limited one year warranty.

    OK, not the best assembly instructions, but plenty of videos on youtube if needed.
    Expect about 45min for a first assembly. I use this for an IT rack I temporarily propped up and finalized the assembly around/under the rack. Really happy.

The rails at 2 corners failed and the metal corners now touch the ground even when i lift the rack to move the machine..

    I recently purchased a new Laguna 14" bandsaw. I decided to use this BORA universal mobility base instead of buying the OEM mobility kit from Laguna (which was over twice the price and had only so-so reviews). Another big plus is that the BORA has 4 wheels (instead of 3 on the OEM mobility kit), making it steady and easy to maneuver.

    I was very pleased at how sturdy the overall construction was and am very comfortable that this will easily handle my 270 lb. bandsaw. Assembly is straightforward, but the instructions could be improved (there are a lot of pictures, but it was not always clear where to use certain parts like washers). The foot operated wheel lift mechanisms are metal (as opposed to plastic used on some other universal bases) and appear to be very sturdy and the rails were made of very heavy gauge material. The finish on all parts is also very good, and while this is not essential to functionality, it does give you a sense of overall good quality.

    I plan to purchase a second unit for my table saw and would not hesitate to recommend this product to anyone looking for a good quality cost effective mobility base for their power tools.

    I had put a set of four individual bolt on quick release swivel casters on my bandsaw years ago. But the 2 inch diameter wheel kept getting caught in the relief joints in my garage floor and the weight of the saw made hard it to pull out them. I replaced the swivel casters on them once and one got caught again and the berings started falling out of the caster. So I bought this to put under it and with the larger diameter wheels and only two that swivel much much better. It was fairly easy to put together, there was some trial and error on assembly which I won't ding it for because after all it is a universal fit base and that I feel is to be expected in all fairness. Worth the money.

    These “Mobile” bases weren’t able to be mobile until I manufactured some bits to help the kick down levers remain in the down position. For those who want a simple, out-of-the-box solution, these are NOT the bases you want to purchase. For the price, I expected them to function as intended, without me having to re-engineer them.
