This LED ring light comes with 8 adapter rings in sizes which fit most standard camera lenses. The controller easily slides into the hot shoe on your camera and it has 7 brightness levels. It is made of heavy duty plastic and requires 4 AA batteries, which are not included. It has an LCD screen which allows you to easily adjust the light intensity and light mode.
The light is very easy to use, and easily fits on my Nikon camera(s). It is perfect for providing extra light for macro photography, and the resulting photos have great true-to-life colours. The LCD screen is very well laid out and easy to navigate, and can be seen even in dim lighting conditions. I generally use this with all lights on so that the lighting is even, but you can play around with using just left lights or just right lights to get some unique results.
The ring light is relatively small in size and easy to put in your camera bag. It is very lightweight and seems very well made. The battery compartment door seems a bit flimsy compared to the quality of the rest of the controller, but overall this is a very impressive ring light set. This exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend it.
