It’s called a “juicing bucket”. I love that name! This is the best personal juicer/blender I have ever had for making my morning smoothie. This is the third one I've owned. The other two were so noisy I had to put ear plugs in before using them - the high-pitched noise they made was giving me tinnitus! This one does make some noise when in use, but it's quite tolerable, and no ear plugs required! It also has the largest capacity, and easily makes 3 cups (750 ml) with room to spare. So far, I've had no problems with the blending, but I only use soft fruits (banana, grapes, canned fruit, etc.), yogurt, and fruit juices. Once switched on, it blends for 40 seconds before switching itself off. That's worked perfectly for me. I've never had to repeat the blending time, nor shake it to mix the ingredients as they recommend. I love the fact that it is rechargeable via the USB cable. I don't know how long it will work on one charge yet, but so far, so good.
A couple of suggestions:
1. Make sure you switch it on before turning it upside down to blend. This will ensure that nothing gets stuck under the blade.
2. The instructions are bad - sparse and unintelligible in places. Fortunately, it's simple to figure out how to operate it.
3. Make sure you rinse off the blades and surrounding area immediately after blending, if possible. Like all blenders, it's hard to clean if food residue is left to dry on the blades.
