This item is heavy and requires pants with a belt, wearing sweatpants or nylon shorts (like all teens wear) pulls the waist down. My son would constantly be pulling his shorts up and at one point the fan was an inch away from falling off on its own. It is too heavy/clunky to wear with the lanyard for my son. This would be great for someone who has a sturdy belt to strap this on under their t-shirt.
