This light has an industrial retro feel to it looks great out on the porch can use for front door light. Easy to install if hookup is outside otherwise will need an electrician to install a box. The sensor is truly a wonderful touch when it gets dark outside automatically turns on its a bit pricy but well worth the investment. Comes in proper packaging to protect the light has instructions and a video to help you install check local codes in your area.

Everything in this Lamp is very nice except the lack of forethought in changing the bulb.

Made from rust proof aluminum.
Elegant and protective double cage around the bulb and glass enclosure.
IP 65 water resistance.
Takes a standard base E 26 bulb.
Choose from a standard bulb or use a vintage 'Edison' style LED bulb.
Maximum 100 Watts bulb.
Auto dusk to dawn sensor. This sensor is at the top where the lamp base meets the wall.
NOTE: If you want the light on all the time or to control it by an inside switch you could either rewire inside the lamp base when installing OR just wrap a little piece of black electrical tape over the sensor. The tape is easy to put on and remove.

As to changing the bulb, you need to remove 4 quite small and easy to lose screws and then remove the fairly bulky and unwieldy double metal cage and glass combination. Then you change the lightbulb. Now you need to line up a screw while holding the cage and glass combo in place. A proper fold over clamp and pin design or almost anything other than this system would have been better. Having to hold up the unwieldy combo in place with one hand while trying to balance a screw on the tip of a driver into a tiny hole is less than ideal.

Everything is good except the bulb changing procedure.

Good value for a lovely exterior porch lamp.

This "Merley" branded Outdoor Wall Light really caught my eye when I saw the listing with it's retro/vintage, yet also modern style. I was looking for something eye catching to replace the older single coach light outside my rear patio door overlooking my deck. I was hoping this Merley wall light would be a good candidate.

The contents were well protected for shipping and everything arrived intact and in good condition. I appreciate that this design makes use of standard E26 (Medium Base) LED bulb. No bulb is included, but you probably have something well suited for this already at home. I would recommend a vintage "Edison" style LED bulb with clear glass as a good match for this design. However, a plain old frosted medium bulb will always do in a pinch.

Mounting this wall light is fairly straightforward and should be not too difficult for anyone who has ever changed out a fixture before.

The unit has very good build quality. It is a sort of an retro/industrial style in a way, but it is quite unique and I have to say that I think it looks very nice when its up. The combination of the black frame with the clear glass really sets it off when paired with right light bulb. I think this looks amazing. You can also possibly change up the overall light effect by getting different variations of E26 base bulbs later on. In the end, I really like the look of it as it adds a touch of retro vintage flare while still being new and modern at the same time. It is a substantial looking fixture as well with the overall generous size. It is an attention grabber in my opinion.

I feel that the original listing price of $110 is a touch on the higher side, but is still reasonable in comparison to similar types and sizes of lighting out there and is in keeping with the good build quality and unique charm of this wall light. I am still giving this Merley Wall Light a full 5 out of 5 based on the price/value/quality proposition. It was exactly what I was looking for and it has exceeded my expectations. I certainly feel this is worth considering.

I installed the Merley porch light recently, and it’s been a fantastic addition to the house. The build quality is excellent — it feels solid, rust-proof, and definitely designed to withstand the weather year-round.

The dusk-to-dawn sensor works perfectly, turning the light on right as it gets dark and off again in the morning without me having to think about it. Installation was very straightforward, even for someone who's not a professional — everything lined up easily, and it was up and running quickly.

The modern design looks great too — sleek and understated but still adds a really nice touch to the front of the house. Very happy with the quality and performance so far — definitely recommend!

This porch light looks really nice, modern but still classic. The materials feel heavy and solid, especially the glass which is thick and clear. It definitely made my back porch look better.

Installation was ok, didn’t take long. The dusk to dawn sensor works fine, it turns on automatically at night and off in the morning, which I really like.

But changing the bulb is not fun. You have to remove 4 tiny screws and hold the glass at the same time. Kinda annoying and not the easiest thing to do, especially if you have to do it up on a ladder. So but a very long lasting light bulb. Would’ve been better if it had clips or something simpler to change the light bulbs.

Also, the packaging made a big mess. The styrofoam inside broke into a million little pieces and stuck to everything. Took me a while to clean that up.

Still, I like the way it looks and works. I’m using it this spring and so far it’s holding up good. Let’s see how it does once the rainy days hit.

Very nice quality sconce light.��
I replaced the lights on my patio, and this was perfect. It’s very nice looking light with the dusk to dawn feature. It’s super solid and well made.��
I live on the Florida coast, and outdoor light fixtures do not last very long at all due to the salt air and heat. However, this one looks like it should hold up fairly well.��

It came with everything you need to install it. I was replacing an existing light, so I didn’t need all the parts, but I still went ahead and swapped them out, which was a breeze. The dusk to dawn feature has been working great. I have it installed under a porch and wasn’t sure how great the dusk to dawn feature would work, but it works just as well as other dusk to dawn lights in direct sun.��

Also I used an Edison style bulb like the one in the picture and it looks great. I don’t think it would look very good with a normal style white bulb. I also like that it has a regular light bulb socket. Some of the newer lights with built in LED lights are great, but when the lights go bad you have to replace the entire fixture. I prefer ones like this where you can easily change the bulb.

It’s the perfect size. Some of the lights I have ordered offline end up being smaller than they look in pics or way too big. This light is perfect size and pics do a good job representing that.��

The only con I can think of is that it’s a little pricey in comparison, but it’s less than what you would pay for the same style light at Home Depot or Lowe’s. And it’s surprisingly just as high quality as the box store lights and not cheap like some of the other similar lights I have gotten off �鶹��.��

Overall I highly recommend this light fixture!

Love the look of this light fixture and that it has a photometric option so that I do not have to remember to turn it on and off each day. Husband said it was easy enough to install. He only complaint is that to change the bulb you have to remove the four small screws (size makes them easy to lose) and then put everything back. They are a bit on the smaller side, but the open area of the glass makes the light shine in all directions. We installed this on the back of the house, so size was not an issue for us, but it should be kept in mind when considering the overall aesthetic of a house/structure.

This porch/outdoor light was far more in terms of quality than I expected.
The design is reminiscent of light styles used on ships crossed over with a touch of farm.
The glass is heavy and the frame itself also is of stout material and very well constructed. The fitup is tight between the assembled pieces and the finish should last a good long time.

I appreciate this level of quality at this price and the installation was also easily accomplished and straightforward.

I used lower wattage Edison bulbs and it still radiates enough light to see without being blinded at night.

Overall, a beautiful fixture that really stands out. Oh, yea....it has a photometric light detectors well that functions perfectly at dusk.
