The Snap Ring Pliers are made of quality hardened 55# carbon steel,and the special heat treatment is carried out.

With high strength and wear resistance,not easy to deform and durable.

Each tip of snap ring plier was fully polished, electrophoretic coated ,black finish which better rust-proof feature.

Anti-slip lines on the tips of pliers helps to hold snap ring firmly without slipping.

Anti-slip PVC handles cover helps to hold pliers firmly.

Suitable for both internal and external snap rings retaining rings.

Usage Method

Clamp the circlip with the groove of the circlip pliers mouth,firmly hold and press the handle of the circlip pliers,and then the circlip can be disassembled.

    I purchased these to help me remove a broken light bulb from a socket. Conventional extraction tools and methods weren't working, so I thought If I could get a pair of reversing pliers and apply something to the outside for grip.... I could grab the inside of the broken socket and twist it out. It worked..

    Would they work well for snap rings? Unsure. The metal seems a bit brittle, but I think so long as not much force was applied they'd survive okay. But the tips aren't replaceable, so if you break one, you're done. I "think" if you were easy on them, they'd be okay. But for the price, I think they're considered disposable. Higher quality reversing pliers are literally orders of magnitude more expensive.
