We like to watch DVDs when we're away at camp, but my parents aren't very good at cell phones.. And there's no reception there.
So streaming services and downloads are just plainly off the table for them, but this DVD player brings movies within reach.
This is an easy to use, energy efficient, straightforward DVD player that does everything it needs to do and nothing it doesn't.
The remote control is laid out in a user-friendly manner, and I love how they included a very clear diagram of how to use the remote control in the manual!
I've had no problems playing all sorts of old and new DVDs.
Best of all, my technologically inept parents were able to set up and play a movie of their choice without me there!!!! What a huge win!!!
In my tests, a 3 hour HD movie only drew a couple Watt-hours from our solar bank, which makes it perfect for extended use with an off-grid set up :) 10/10
