    It wasn't shaped to fit quite correctly and the necessary forcing of it into the groove in the spinner may have impacted the structural integrity of the mounting loop. That loop is where it tends to snap off long before the blade would wear out. It flying off may pose a slight laceration risk to your ankles, but you shouldn't be using a trimmer with legs bare anyways. Do not buy, unless they indicate improvements.
