If you are a collector and you care about the box or if you buy it as a gift, look for it in a store. 鶹 packaged the box horribly and the box arrived completly damaged in all corners, plus a hole in the front cover! 5 stars is for the content, I would give zero stars for delivery quality!

    Within a library of thousands of titles collected over many years, this is one of my reference discs and I watch it at least a couple of times a year for its pure WOW factor. I also reach for this one as one of my favourite demo titles, along with Planet Earth II (which also features a Hans Zimmer soundtrack), if a visitor shows passing interest in the theatre. The visual content and soundstage are equally engaging and immersive.

    For some reason, nature documentaries are one of the best ways to showcase the capabilities of a 4K television. BBC documentaries like the Planet Earth and Blue Planet series comfortably sit at the top of that heap.

    The footage here is often stunning, with 4K bringing out incredible details in fur, feathers, and scales that you'd never notice on other formats. Thanks to the HDR color, this is all brought to impressive color vibrancy. Whether it's an impressive landscape or a close-up of insects in action, the visuals are top-tier. As usual, if you're looking for a demo-worthy piece to show off a good TV's capabilities, this is one of the best ways to do it.

    Unsurprisingly, however, while this is a great visual showpiece for your television, it's not a good way to show off your audio system. You'll get a 5.1 audio experience that manages to fill the room, but for a modern Dolby Atmos sound system that also takes advantage of height channels, this does nothing. The audio also largely consists of stirring orchestral compositions complemented by the soft, soothing voice of David Attenborough's narration, which is still a national treasure of England but not something that's going to kick in your subwoofer.

    However, as a way to show you nature like you've never seen before, learn more about the precariousness of our environmental situation, and show off what a 4K TV is capable of with all cylinders firing, this is still a great collection to own, even if Dolby Atmos owners don't get a workout here.

    Having seen those at least twice on Netflix, I was hoping the 4K discs would bring a bit more in terms of picture quality, and of course the joy of owning these magnificent nature documentaries, and being able to watch them at my leasure. Well, it exceeded by far my expectations, it's nothing short of spectacular and breathtaking! The audio is also great. Mr. Attenborough's legendary voice comes through very nicely in the mix, you could just close your eyes and enjoy his calming and soothing description of the different worlds explored in this series. If you've never seen these, and you have a 4K setup, do yourself a favor you'll never regret!

    The BBC shows off what 4K is capable of with amazing picture.

    If you have a Ps5 or Xbox One or XBox series, then you may already have a 4K disk player.

    4K quality is much better from disk than from streaming options.
