I had a previous version of this. The previous model seemed more solidly constructed than this one. That being said, the touch screen is quite responsive and the functions seem to work well. It would have been nice to have a USB outlet in the front of the deck instead of having to run a cable out from the back.
I can't speak to the longevity of this system ... but I'm hopeful that it will last as long as my previous unit.
