5.0 out of 5 stars I need an A*/A...
Verified PurchaseThis is a go to textbook for schools and colleges but as a student studying philosophy it is too in-depth initially for me.
*I need to understand the subject in order to have a chance of achieving an A*/A at A level Philosophy.
This and the other Michael Lacewing book are more supplementary materials for me and as such are placed together with my two My revision notes AQA Paper 1 & 2 Philosophy by Gerald Jones and Jeremy, and K Lancaster revision books.
Because A*/A at A level don't grow on trees...
In my personal opinion the books that get me soundly on the road to top grades at A level are the Christian B Feest series:
"How to get an A in A level philosophy: AQA philosophy syllabus (7172)"
"Paper 1: Epistemology and Moral Philosophy revision exercises and exam practice workbook
for AQA philosophy paper 1(7172/1)
"Paper 2 Metaphysics and God and Mind: A level Philosophy revision exercises and exam practice workbook
for AQA philosophy paper 2(7172/2)"
"How to Ace Your A-levels " A. Raja and M. Karia
Access- Syllabus and actual Philosopher extracts from the AQA board website
