I'm so happy I can still buy bulbs that work. I need dimming and LED can't come close to matching the dimming of incandescent bulbs. Yes these bulbs use more power than LED but they don't burst into flames like a couple of LED lights do that I've tested, they last, the light color is great and most importantly, I get 100% dimming range with no flicker and these bulbs aren't an environmental disaster.

They also get very hot. I'm not sure if it's this heat that causes them to fail, but I seem to have to replace these quite often.
